Wow. Wow. Wow. Mfw.

Okay, I am not going to repeat how much effort I have put in and how are they treated as shit. I am just going to ask, what sort of map did you fucking want when you asked me? I DID MAKE A SHORT SAMPLE OF THE KIAI TO MAKE SURE WHETHER YOU WERE FINE WITH THIS SORT OF STUFF OR NOT BEFORE I ACTUALLY WENT TO MAP IT AND YOU DID ACT LIKE ":3 fine, go ahead!", AND NOW YOU SAID "sorry, i dont like this :/"

A few days ago after you told me that some BATs were unsatisfied with the kiai, I INSTANTLY LAID DOWN THE MAPS I WAS WORKING ON AND QUICKLY STARTED REMAPPING IT, AND NOW YOU SAID "sorry, no".

Seriously, that's utterly pissing me off. I do always make sure what sort of difficulty does the customer want and I always avoid to deviate from that. That's becuase I don't want a shit situation like this ever happening.

It's usually not uncommon to reject a guest difficulty, but it's fucking uncommon and unbearable for me when the one who requested it rejects it for the sake of difficulty which I have already clearly clarified before I actually started to map. You are the first one doing it under the circumstances in my whole 3 years of mapping, good job. And good luck, with your maps.

In addition: please delete anything related to my difficulty from your description, genuinely appreciate you.

Generally i don't wanna hurt people by saying "no, i don't like", "this is shiit" or whatever u want unlike some mappers. when i said "go ahead" it's cuz i thought u would notice by yourseflf that it was way too much, especially on this song, it's actually how it works for me (map/play/delete/map/play/delete). I agree that i should have insisted on the fact of not using double bpm. But from now on i won't hesitate anymore to say my true thoughts to avoid this kind of situation.

First of all i didn't say just "sorry, no" I explained severals reason (not all of them)

Once again, my sincerest apologies for wasting your time.

I shouldn't be posting here anymore but allow me to reply to your reasons:

Umi wrote:

  1. The music is quite relaxing and the way how you mapped it doesn't fit the song to me (tbh this is not what i was expecting from u :/ I usually like your mapping style but this is too much here, blame 2014 mapping) my previous post can answer this
  2. The begining and kiai part are clearly overmapped (00:11:499 (5) - /00:13:389 (1,2) - /00:11:499 (5) - and more ..) actually i don't hear anything at these spots. "overmapping doesn't exist" said a certain person. but w/e, if the points at the beginning you mentioned were considered "overmapped", then every single map in osu would also be considered the same. the kiai parts might be questionable, but after confirming with some people i don't think they're absolutely unacceptable.
  3. Sometimes you're skipping important beat for no reason (00:12:444 - /00:14:334 - etc..) i followed only one instrument here thus i ignored the others.
U might hate me for this, but i don't feel like add a difficulty that i don't like. so i guess this reason "i don't like it" sums it up? i don't know about you, but for me, when i see a guest diff coming for my set that doesn't really satisfy me, i'd try to consult with the mapper and see what we can do, doing a mod to improve it, asking various people for opinions, or talking to each other to get around the problem, but definitely not removing the map instantly, considering the fact that the request wasn't even done by me, it was done by you, wasn't it? the lack of consultation is the reason why i acted this mad, i hope you can understand the point, my dear friend.

that's true, i didn't consult u, but i don't really think we could have found a compromise. I asked several opinion on my side and they were all unanimous, then u asked rrtyui for a testplay, btw i still dunno what he said.

then u sent me the new version, on which u deleted 1/8 rythm and reviewed some pattern, but "overmapping" (cuz it exist and according to me a map must follow something in the music, intru/vocal/drum/etc) was still present.

anyways i'm done with this. if u want continue, do it by pm unless you're doing this on purpose.

16:09 xChippy: 00:07:491 (4,5) - Might just be me but those short sliders are rather hard to interpretate imo

16:09 Umi: yeah i thought same
16:09 Umi: i'll make stream instead
16:09 xChippy: cool~
16:10 xChippy: 00:12:097 (2,3) - this caught me offguard
16:10 xChippy: since
16:10 xChippy: 1 to 2 also 1/4
16:10 xChippy: but has such small spacing
16:11 xChippy: in comparison with this one
16:11 xChippy: but well I'm not a good player lol owo
16:11 Umi: i'll use a consistent DS
16:11 xChippy: cool owo
16:12 xChippy: 00:18:830 (5) - remove whistle from head?
16:13 Umi: ops yeah
16:14 xChippy: 00:36:782 - perhaps add a note ?
16:14 xChippy: more comfortable interval
16:15 Umi: ah yeah true
16:15 Umi: added
16:16 xChippy: Perhaps remove this note 00:46:349 (3) - and add a 1/4 slider here 00:46:231
16:16 xChippy: 00:46:231
16:16 xChippy: your missing out the vocal there ;w;
16:16 xChippy: which is pretty cool part www
16:17 Umi: humm
16:17 xChippy: but I know for consistency meh
16:17 xChippy: but its cool ww
16:17 Umi: i'll consider if other ppl complain about this
16:17 xChippy: just suggestions owo
16:17 Umi: Ik :3
16:18 xChippy: 00:47:649 (1) - increase volume starting here a bit ?
16:19 xChippy: 00:49:538 (1) - finish on the head fits better owo

16:21 Umi: added :3
16:22 xChippy: 01:03:948 (1) - NC seems rather weird here owo
16:22 Umi: ops not intentional xD
16:23 xChippy: 01:08:200 (8) - personal preference maybe ctrl+G?
16:23 xChippy: owo
16:24 Umi: if i do ctrl G on 8 then also on 9
16:24 Umi: better flow no ?
16:24 xChippy: hmm
16:25 xChippy: 8 to 9 would be rather
16:25 xChippy: but
16:25 xChippy: yeah would work now I test it
16:26 xChippy: 01:12:688 (2) - Remove this? and add a 1/4 slider here 01:12:570 - imo its better as you catch the vocal similiar like here 00:57:452 (2) -
16:26 Umi: feel weird imo
16:26 Umi: cuz i mostly follow the drum during the kiai
16:28 xChippy: hmm ok
16:29 xChippy: thats all owo

Hi, Umi! There is Regraz's mod! :)
There is a few points of my mod:

  1. Thank you for requesting a mod from me! Note that I am still learning modding skills, so I am sorry if I cannot provide help to you!
  2. Mod is just a kind of suggestion, so feel free if you dont want to make change.
  3. I hope you can reply to my mod since it can help me know the other mappers' ideas and I can also learn something new.
  4. Bond means highly suggest.
  5. Same issues wont be repeated by me unless it is a GD..
  6. This is the one of the maps I modded since I used modding framework version 3 (mfv3)

General

Desperate’s Easy

  • Rhythm:
  1. 01:25:444 (1) - Hmm, how about making it the same as the other diffs? Now, the music at 01:27:334 is covered by the spinner, which provides some bad feelings imo. (I guess you are trying to mke a loner spinner so that newbie players can react fast?)
    Structure:
  2. 00:42:688 (4) - Personally, this shape is not so appealing,try this? http://puu.sh/cnq4B/1a78dd5ab3.jpg
  3. 00:43:869 (1,2,3) - This layout seems a little not neat, how about this one? http://puu.sh/cnq9I/4b319d8b48.jpg
    Hitsounds
  4. Fine
    Others:
  5. None

Normal

  • Rhythm:
  1. 00:45:286 (3,4) - How about this one? http://puu.sh/coro8/e4ccfe2319.jpg The finish and the high pitch vocal can be emphasized.
  2. About Kiai Time, you use some 1/1 ones such as 00:57:097 (1,2,3,4,5) - . that's nice, but I'd rather recommend you follow the vocal instead.
Using 1/2 will make the map more easier, so...it seems a little weird to see the map is getting easier especially at the start of Kiai Time. Also, in this two sections: 01:04:656 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5,6) - The density of notes varies suddenly, the latter part is much harder than the former part....So I guess you can make the difficulty more consistent.

    Structure:
  3. 01:01:586 (2,3) - maybe you can blanket here? (just a nazi lol)
    Hitsounds
  4. Fine
    Others:
  5. 01:27:334 (1,1) - Regarding this....I dont know if this is allowed in Normal I remember that there is some debate about this kind of spinner which follow its previous note very closely, but I dont know.....

Fumika’s Hard

  • Rhythm:
  1. 00:45:523 (5) - 1/2 longer?
  2. 00:54:735 (4) - Guess a 1/4 will fit in with the background music better? http://puu.sh/cow25/508c767cf0.png There is a 1/4 sound at 00:54:971 (5) -
    Structure:

  4. 00:12:216 (1) - Move to 120|281 for a perfect stack. (nazi)
  5. Hmm, just a suggestion: you can make the DS between your 3/4 notes larger to give a hint to the players, such as 00:51:192 (4,1,2) - They can easily be recognised as 1/2 ones. Also, you can emphasize your 3/4 rhythm by doing this way.
    Hitsounds
  6. 00:04:184 (1,2) - 00:06:074 (1,2) - Use 5% volumn for these sliders' ends? These slider-ends sound really annoying in where the music is soft. And also they break the whistles you've created in this part.

    Structure:
  2. 00:16:940 (6,7,8,9) - Use a larger DS between these 4 notes, also use higher volume here since the music has slightly changed here.
  3. 01:03:475 (4,5,6,7,8) - I'd recommend you not stack them since there are 5 notes....
  4. 00:15:523 (1,2,3) - (Just personal idea)This one is fine, but how about creating a more neat one like this? http://puu.sh/cpmfp/a7dd5ec3c1.jpg Also the flow between the note 00:16:231 (3) - and stream 00:16:704 (4,5,6,7,8,9) - will be better.
  5. 00:27:216 (2) - End at 389|321 for a better stack.
    Hitsounds
  6. 00:03:712 (3) - Lower the volume of the 1/4 ones in the soft part? They feels a little loud. Also, by making a volume difference, you can emphasize the background music at 00:04:184 (1) -

  4. 00:44:223 (2,3) - Er... The DS/placement is a little confusing, better you keep DS around 2.0x like 00:42:688 (2,3) - . So try this? http://puu.sh/cpnfa/fca1a1d2f7.jpg
  5. 01:11:743 (8,9,10,11) - Why not using larger DS for these 4 notes here to emphasize?

Desperate's Easy

* 00:11:743 (2) - Fix blanket?
* 00:45:523 (4) - (EZ/NM/HD/Gu) The finish hitsound should be lower imo. This finish is for example not as loud and noticeable as 00:43:869 (1) - .
* 00:49:066 (5) - (all) This note has a different a clap in some diffs, a whistle in Hard and a Finish in Gu's. Make it consistent? A clap + whistle would fit nicely here, since the sound in the song isn't loud enough for a finish.

Nice symmetry work you used at some parts!

Normal

* 00:06:074 (1) - Personally, I'd put this much lower than it is right now to keep the flow with (3) - but I can see you refusing this, because you'll have to rework like almost the whole diff.
* 00:19:302 (2,3) - Improve the blanket here.
* 00:24:971 (1) - Put the slider point before the red point a little more down, to make it more or less symmetrical.
* 00:45:523 (4) - (EZ/NM/HD/Gu) The finish hitsound should be lower imo. This finish is for example not as loud and noticeable as 00:43:869 (1) - .

Good DT map! Should be good to go.

Fumika's Hard

* 00:05:601 (4) - You had a nice circular for before this note, but now you changed it into a straight line. Maybe move (4) a little bit down, so you have a similar flow like 00:07:019 (3,4,1) -
* 00:30:641 (3) - Has a similar sound like 00:26:861 (5) - , so why not a similar slider?
* 00:45:523 (4) - (EZ/NM/HD/Gu) The finish hitsound should be lower imo. This finish is for example not as loud and noticeable as 00:43:869 (1) - .

* 00:53:318 (1,2,3,4) - Tweak this pattern a little bit for a smoother flow.
* 01:27:097 (1) - I would just put two regular 1/2 circles here instead of the slider. You're kind of skipping the loud finish on the end of the slider.

Nice use of 1/4!

Insane

* 00:02:294 (1) - Why not put the slider point perfectly on (3). Looks better, and it won't hurt :3
* 00:09:381 (4,1,3) - This blanket is off.
* 00:13:633 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3) - Almost every blanket here is not done correctly. Might be for flow, but you can blanket all of these notes and keep the flow. I re-blanket'd this part and avoided ugly overlaps, and stacked where needed. Use the code if you want.

* 00:11:743 (1) - Every diff except yours is using a whistle here, maybe it's your personal preference, but the song is the same in all the diffs, so why not the hitsounds? The whistles usually go with the piano tunes, downbeats and high vocals in the song. Same with 00:15:523 (1) - 00:19:302 (1) - 00:21:192 (1) - 00:23:082 (1) - 00:28:751 (1) - 00:30:641 (1) - 00:36:310 (1) - 00:41:979 (1) - 00:44:223 (2) - 00:45:759 (1) - 00:52:373 (2) - 00:58:987 (1) - 01:00:877 (1) - 01:02:767 (1) - 01:06:546 (1) - 01:08:436 (1) - 01:14:105 (1) - 01:15:995 (1) - 01:19:775 (1) - 01:22:373 (3) -

* 01:01:704 (3,4,5,6,7) - No blanket stream here? Try putting (7) somewhere near x192,y208 would fit quite well. Looks & flows better imo.
* 01:13:869 (9,10,1) - I'd remove (10), because you're following the drums in this combo, and this triplet isn't really needed imo, but it's perfectly fine if you keep it
* 01:14:814 (3,4,5,6,7) - The shape of the stream is different than your usual style. Keep it like 01:12:924 (3,4,5,6,7) - or add more of these kind of stream shapes in your diff.
* 01:16:467 (2,3,4) - Different spacing than 01:07:019 (2,3,4) - ? The instruments are very similar at both sections. I'd make the spacing the same.
* 01:24:027 (2,3,4) - This 1/2 spacing you used here is smaller than usual. Put (3) and/or (4,5,6) further away?

I really like your style, but pay close attention to the hitsounds in this diff. It's the only diff that lacks a lot of whistles, but overall nicely done!

nice song, nice map, a star for you

Hello hello |’。ω。)
Sorry if mod sounds aggressive/offending.

No issues nor suggestions for easy orz
Oh except that 1/2 is enough for easy (haven't found so otherwise)

Normal:
00:24:263 (5) - this end could use drum sample
01:04:656 (1) - this might need finnish sound, or the standard whistle if you don't want it to be loud
01:25:444 (2) - remove drum additions

Hard:
00:25:326 (2) - put this closer to previous slider?
00:36:310 (3,1) - I think these are too close, considering the spacing you used before

Insane(I like this one most, good job!):
Why is snap divisor set to 1/8?what happeneeeeedddd

Gu's Insane:
00:10:562 (2) - I like this lower.
00:24:381 (4,5) - can you make these stack below the end of the previous slider? Rotate the slider, so the distance to the next beat isn't too great
00:58:042 (4,5,6) - don't stack, I think it's hard to get and kills the flow
01:27:334 (1) - i found this a bit too extreme
I found this map a bit repetitive with all the stacked beats (sorry) your other insane has some jumps with at least 3 beats, I missed that in this one, do you mind adding some? (I mean things like 00:11:034 (4,5,6) and 00:29:932 (4,5,6) and 00:37:491 (3,4,5) )

Sorry, if I wasn't much help.

Also, in this two sections: 01:04:656 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5,6) - The density of notes varies suddenly, the latter part is much harder than the former part....So I guess you can make the difficulty more consistent.
yeah i remapped a bit eh kiai part
