I cringe whenever I hear my voice too. Glad to know I'm not the only one.
That's why you sing in the backstreet where hopefully none can hear you.

Every time I hear myself on a microphone I realise just how deep my voice is. It's especially akward when I am singing high pitched song with my deep ass voice and it sounds so wrong.
im pretty sure nearly everyone hates their voice when recorded, even i hate it.

Lmao, I'm the exact opposite. I think I sound around Tarja's range (fairly low), then hear my voice and it's high af. The amount of people irl who must be thinking I'm a weeb, geez. I just sound so much lower in my head and it's hard to get used to the idea of having a high pitched voice.
Having a low voice must be really cool, though. Wish I could steal some lowness, lol!
