00:11:717 (1) - 85||187 maybe? Perfect stack under the slider.
00:13:296 (3,4) - Ctrl+G this rhythm cuz i really feel 00:13:612 - Should be mapped to something clickable lol.
00:16:138 (3) - Ctrl+G would improve the flow from 2>3 and also make the angle going into the stream less sharp.
00:28:612 (2) - Rotate this 90 degrees anti-clockwise from selection center. Nice up and down motion with the pattern here.
00:37:454 (4,5,6) - I feel like having larger ump from 5>6 fits better than from 4>5. 6 is a stronger note, cuz there's also a drumbeat there.
00:52:769 (1,2,3) - I don't really get this rhythm x___x. I know you aren't mapping to vocals, but there is a (bell? idk) instrument at 00:53:401 - that you could have mapped to. Sliders on red-ticks are generally weaker and in this case, since something exists on the white tick, it might be better to have the sliders start on white ticks instead.
00:56:559 (1,2) - These totally look like normal 1/2 spaced sliders even tho they are actually 1/4 apart. Bring them closer together?

Since both of us (me and you) want to be fair, i'll gonna mod normal, hard, and Insane (yours). Both of our maps have the same Draining time (~10 sec).

Well i'm not fan of the grey colour here, since it's a bit hidden on complet patter on hard and +.

[Normal]

00:01:612 : Regarding on the whole other diffs, you're the only one who make sliders on this section, i advise you to delete and do the same thing as the others, i mean this may be a DQ issue since your section is even harder than the Insane (withtout counting the OD ofc).

00:06:664 : Well you blanket could be of a better quality.

00:10:296 : If you're on the aim to get a blanket with the 1st of combo, the end can be down a bit to be on a better blanket.

00:16:612 : Well on the whole section you didn't use scc (meaning slider circle circle) but csc or scs, i think here it should be csc too, so you can move 1/2 later the slider and put the circle on the previous slider timing.

00:28:769 : For the flow you can definitively ctrl-j this slider.

00:36:348 : I'd rather see this slider curved and blanket with the previous slider, it's more elegant imo.

00:47:085 : You should move the end of the slider to 104;224 and getting a perfect blanket.

00:50:875 : This can be simplified by a reverse slider.

Else it's quite correct. Not so perfect but not so bad too. :>

Reason for Disqualification


  1. Disqualified for too complex rhythm in the Easy difficulty, as you can see below. The structure and flow of the Insane difficulty could also be improved a bit, it's listed under Additional Modding though since the issues are no must-fixes.
[ Easy]
  1. 00:19:296 (1,2,1,2,3) - 1/2-sliders are not appropriate for an Easy on 190 BPM, atleast when used without a repeat, since the short hold they require can confuse newbies.
  2. 00:56:559 (1,2,3) - The 3/2-rhythms read like 2/1 here (due to the circle surrounded by two 3/2-gaps) and the overlap of (1) and (3) is unnecessary (since head and repeat overlap instead of just head and track, so it looks a bit cramped for an Easy difficulty), consider to chose a more simple rhythm and placement here.
  3. 01:26:875 (4,1,2) - This is clearly too difficult rhythm, the 1/2-sliders combined with 3/2-gaps are a deadly combo.

  1. 00:04:138 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - This looks and plays like a random circle pattern, which is NCd as if they were sorted in groups of three. Try to make that clearer by using for example lower spacings between three circles and then a jump as a transition, to give this pattern more structure.
  2. 00:09:506 (3,4) - The flow is pretty bad here, after this jump (4)'s slideshape is weird to play. Try to change the slidershape so it fits the movement coming from the previous circles.
  3. 00:34:454 (1,2,3,4) - Broken flow again, the transition between (3) and (4) is way too sharp. I know it's meant to be sharp to stress (4) but it's a bit too much here.
  4. 01:02:243 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - Same as 00:04:138
  5. 01:28:769 (1,2,3,4) - This looks random and a bit ugly, it would better to use a pattern with equal spacing here because the sounds are all equally intense.

If QATs loosen up their standards then there'd be no point for them to exist, and QATs are humans too, they make mistakes as well. I'm pretty neutral, but the way things are going here is pretty vile so.. ye.

To madoka: the thing is there is not a standard of how good quality your map has to have in order to go to ranked stage, but surely if the map set does not have a issue against RC, then there should not have a reason to DQ it, unless everyone can tell the map has a low quality.
Experienced mapper do a SPrank should not be the reason for QATs to dq them by some minor issues that neither affect gameplay or against the RC.
you can say that the osu beatmaps are getting better, but when you look back, most maps after 2011 have a reasonable quality. i actually think loctav made this new system mainly for speed up the ranking process, as well as assure the quality. but now its becoming weird that no body really know what quality should a ranked map be. BNs were nerfed from BATs, the dq standard of QATs really confused most of BNs. and now all they can do is nominate a map and try their luck.

Doing their job? Yes. But are they doing a decent job at it? Not so much. From what I've seen, they DQ a map that has no valid reason to actually be DQ'd(And if there is, it's poorly justified or is just a retarded reason like what No Dap stated). They just care for the "Quality" of a map and exclude what creativity mappers themselves put into their own map. Plus they make up DQ excuses that don't even affect the playability of the map at all like some have stated. It's just ridiculous.

tbh, if I was a newbie and were to play the Easy, I'd also be confused of the 1/2 note on this BPM.. It does affect playability. And of course they care about quality, they exist solely for that.... Welp, can't please everyone. At least they DQ'd for a reason that is easily fixable..

idk if you're being serious or just kidding. That's pretty much ABUSE of RC. "Hey, I got no unrankable stuff, so I'm free to make a map as crappy as possible and rank it because it's not against RC!" Yeah, you're not going to get with that easily. 1/2 on easy isn't a minor issue especially on this BPM tbh. If you don't know what kind of "quality" to rank, then make one yourself. but something that has to be considered from quality is playability and aesthetics. 1/2 on easy is playability issues, how can you not expect it to get DQ's when there's a 1/2 on easy?

I'm not saying this map is crap, I personally am a fan of No Dap and kibbles maps because of their consistent style of mapping and playability, but this is pretty reasonable and there's no reason to flame on them, they're just doing their jobs. :D Peace!
