Hi Alarido~

Your beatmap is really good, but I found some minor grid symmetry issues.
[Easy]
01:34:494 (1) - this looks out of place to me but I can't seem to find a better way to place it without moving other things, so maybe it's ok.
[Normal]
00:44:287 (2, 4) - move slider 4 up so it matches Y axis with slider 2
03:32:873 (1, 2) - when you reverse selection on slider 1, you can see that slider 1 is (x,308) and slider 2 is (x,307).
[Hard]
00:40:921 (3, 6) - I do not see this pattern anywhere else in the song.. do you want to change it?
02:44:371 (4, 5) - when you reverse selection on slider 5, it is (x,235) and slider 4 is (x,236).
03:14:106 (6, 7) - slider 7 = (x,286) when the reverse slider 6 = (x,287)
[Insane]
01:43:460 (1, 3) - slider 1 is (x,196) but slider 3 is (x,195) when reverse
02:31:439 (1, 2) - slider 2 is (x,242) but slider 1 is (x,243) when reverse
02:40:221 (1, 2) - here is also a difference of (x,y+-1)
02:51:991 (1, 2) - same as 02:40:221 (1, 2) -
02:54:618 (1, 2) - ^
02:58:667 (1, 2) - ^

Good luck. :)

[Easy]
01:34:494 (1) - this looks out of place to me but I can't seem to find a better way to place it without moving other things, so maybe it's ok. ► Hm... its head makes a triangle with 01:32:990 (2,3) - and its head is blanketed by 01:35:623 (2) - so kept (:
[Normal]
00:44:287 (2, 4) - move slider 4 up so it matches Y axis with slider 2 ► No symmetry intended here.... For symmetry, both sliders should be same visual size, that's not the case here (due to rhythm).
03:32:873 (1, 2) - when you reverse selection on slider 1, you can see that slider 1 is (x,308) and slider 2 is (x,307). ► Fixed !
[Hard]
00:40:921 (3, 6) - I do not see this pattern anywhere else in the song.. do you want to change it? ► Modified some patterns.
02:44:371 (4, 5) - when you reverse selection on slider 5, it is (x,235) and slider 4 is (x,236). ► Fixed !
03:14:106 (6, 7) - slider 7 = (x,286) when the reverse slider 6 = (x,287) ► Fixed too !

Yo, there's something weird in your video. Also, the OD on Easy and Normal should be reduced to make the timing changes and choppy rhythm a bit more playable.

Anyway, I'm here to shoot a couple of stars. Hope I'll be able to mod it when I finish with the maps from my queue! (if you don't mind, ofc).

Hm.... the video might do this because the song file doesn't have the 'intro' that the video have (it would have it with some edit, but the .mp3 quality would suffer a bit (or a lot) when doing such edit). I'd set audio preview to the same amount of time of the video offset, but now set audio preview to 0 (zero) and, once tested, applied on every diff.

Thanks for the stars =^.^= and take your time (: Family, work and school, these three in first place c:

Yo, not-so-random mod because you're awesome.

[General]
  1. Man, don't lie to us, that's clearly NOT a heavy metal song, sounds more like alternative metal. (Wiki) Also, you may want to add Toxicity to the tqgs, it's the name of the album.
Note: don't forget to add SOAD to the tags, I think you know why
  2. Blue and purple colors are pretty similar, bring some vary, use more of them! See the box below for some example!
    colors

    [Colours]
    Combo1 : 184,201,182
    Combo2 : 189,176,164
    Combo3 : 181,190,193
    Combo4 : 75,74,85
    Combo5 : 49,83,111
    Combo6 : 203,179,173
  3. Please, reduce the sound of this spinner. It'd really fit with the music + it sounds kinda weird as it is. :(
Note: oh, and maybe you should consider muting spinner-bonus.wav as well. I think it sounds a bit off and doesn't really fits with this song.
[Easy]
  1. Honestly, I feel like you have to reduce the OD here. You current OD is a bit too high because the song has some BPM changes and 3/2 beats which are rather hard for beginners. Reducing OD would make your map a bit friendlier towards beginners.
  2. 00:35:687 (3,1) - I don't want to bother you with nazi stuff, but the flow feels kinda wrong here. It is catchable, but the transition gives an unpleasant feeling. I've tried to fix it for you, see if you like it!
Note: 01:34:494 (1,2) - pretty much the same happens here. Though the diff is quite slow and it doesn't feel that bad, but if you have any better ideas, please go ahead and change it!
  3. 01:38:984 (5) - and 02:28:626 (5) - please, consider adding a new combo here. You need it to emphasize the BPM vhanges and to follow music a bit better. It may look a bit confusing, but I'm sure that it's needed here to emphasize players about the BPM changes
  4. 02:44:371 (2,3) - i kinda didn't like your rhythm here, it feels a bit complicated. Why don't you make it a bit more simple and follow vocals here? :) my example
Note: 02:53:146 (2,3) and 02:56:090 (2,3) - the rhythm feels kinda repetitive, do the sae here, I guess. Or keep it this way to bring some vary and make your map a bit more interesting :P
  5. 02:53:146 (2,3) - nazi - try to make a bblanket here example or use some simple flow here. Either way you choose it will improve the transition between (3) and (1), imo.
  6. 03:19:279 (2) - just amazing. Love everything about this slider, it's sound, it's shape and the flow it gives! Great idea! ♥

You never disappoint me, great diff!
[Normal]
  1. Try to reduce OD, it may be a bit hard to deal with all these BPM changes, though they are minor, they're A LOT of them. Normal-players may be confused with such complicated timing.
  2. 01:38:984 (5) - pretty much the same as on Easy diff, I'd emphasize such BPM changes with new combos, it fits with the music + it makes the BPM/offset changes a bit more understandable
  3. 01:51:474 (4,1) - the transition feels kinda awkward here. It is catchable, but well, the flow isn't really good, imo. :( Maybe it's just me, that'd be great to get some more opinions on this part, tho
  4. 03:48:683 (2,1) - you have no taiko/o!m specific iffs, so players will play standard diffs in their modes. This pattern becomes unacceptable and too hard in o!m and really unreadable in taiko. Please, try to avoid such stuff when it's possible, place spnners to existing beats!

Everything is pretty nice. Good job with the diff!
[Hard]
  1. 00:40:921 (3) - I'd use NCs to mphasize such slowdowns. Those, who play hard diffs are probably not used to sudden slowdowns, so it may confuse them a bit. :(
  2. 01:15:651 (6,7) - this would flow much better if you change it's direction, I think.
  3. 01:46:465 (1) - not a fan of such sliders, they may fit, but it's kinda unpleasant when the second reverse-arrow apears. If I were you, I'd replace such sliders with something like this
Note: same applies for all similar sliders, ofc. Oh, and probably you should get more opinions about such things. It may be just me ><
  4. 02:45:814 (1,2) - just a little overlap which looks a bit out of style, so I'd recommend you to fix it. It'll also improve your flow! :)

Well mapped, that's exactly what I love!
[Insane]
  1. I would reduce the OD here as well. So many BPM changes and OD8 may be TOO hard and probably won't be a pleasant experience. Anyway, get more opinions about this one.

Perfecto! Personally, I'd add some more jumps to loud drum beats, but it's not a big deal. I loved the diff.
Great mapset! Have some star(s)!

Those, who play hard diffs are probably not used to sudden slowdowns, so it may confuse them a bit. :( ► Well... too many slowings with too many NCs... if some BAT suggest it, I'll do, but it feels not too suitable to have such ?NC span? -- because I usually place NC for each 1 or 2 stanzas, except if the song itself feels requesting for more (e.g., real BPM changes -- marked by red lines)
  2. 01:15:651 (6,7) - this would flow much better if you change it's direction, I think. ► Redesigned this part a bit.
  3. 01:46:465 (1) - not a fan of such sliders, they may fit, but it's kinda unpleasant when the second reverse-arrow apears. If I were you, I'd replace such sliders with something like this ► This was made mostly for add variety (or too many 1/2 ones in same style) and, also, for lack of space. I would try stacked 1/2 sliders (like these ones here), but unfortunately, they're unrankable. But when the rules change about slider stacking, I'll feel more free to change it (:
Note: same applies for all similar sliders, ofc. Oh, and probably you should get more opinions about such things. It may be just me ><

►►► Changed. (there was an anti-blanket here...)
00:57:529 - why put such a strong sound in the middle of a slider? ► Due a couple of things: (a) it's not so strong compared to their neighbors, and (b) it wasn't part of the original project (note that 00:57:341 (9,10,11,1) draws a stylized "S" on screen.
01:09:582 - ^ ► Hm... Here, changed to a note + 1/2 slider (improve symmetry on Y-axis and enhance the beat with a clap)

02:38:614 (6) - ^ ► Done (here and in a few non-mentioned parts for consistency)
01:03:947 (10) - maybe split this combo a bit ► It's near of the 2nd measure (really doing NCs every two measures, except for some different parts as you pointed above), and it don't feel suitable to have NC right before another NC -- at least not in this song (really, some songs request them, specially in calmer moments/sparse mapped sections).
01:34:494 (1,2) - (nazi) fix blanket a bit ► Done.

02:37:722 (3) - the jump can catch people off guard, most would think this would be ctrl + g'd ► Hm... it's true... especially for who plays with HD/FL first time (due to absence of approach circle). 02:57:563 (1,2) - meh this overlap ► This is intentional and well-done as most perfectly I would make, but... you'd pointed it and gave me a chance for... testing a Ctrl-G 02:58:115 (2,3) and... Good idea! It's amazing! The Ctrl-G on 02:58:115 (2,3) makes such "meh" overlap disappear magically and (hallelujah?) it also gives an amazing flow (Y). \:D/
02:59:219 (4) - finish at head like the previous ones? ► Done (and also added finish at 02:47:455 (4) for consistency on the last chorus)

02:10:986 (2) - ctrl g? ► YES!!!
02:12:489 (5) - ^ ► YES!!!
02:15:682 (4) - i think it would be better if you shortened this to a 1/2 slider and added a circle at where it used to start ► sure; done.

How you think about mapping a specific Taiko mapset on this song ????

Obrigado Mezz :)

I've called a BAT to take an uncompromised look at this map. His modding list feels the longer so far, so it can take several days, or weeks, or months, or years, so don't worry if this mapset remains so long on Pending realm. Someday, the prize of "The Oldest Map Before Ranking" will be mine. And yes, I'll keep mapping other songs too ─ including a song that will be the most polemical ever on osu! XD

Also I've say the BIG THANKS to each one of the 21+ people that favorited the map (it's 22+ minus me).

About the diff naming, I've had decided to follow the standard naming, but in these latter days I wanna change the Insane to "Aerials", the song name. Perhaps I'll do in the next update. Or not. (lol).

I'll keep the three completed mapsets on Pending, no matter how much I map furthermore. They're all going to be Ranked.

EDIT: PS: BATS, please take a look here! I won't turn this thread in my blog!

Therefore, this mapset needs LOTS of Taiko modders (:

Some Std mods also needed.

Now I need Taiko modders so I could keep learning Taiko mapping.
And after a lot of improvements on my taikos, will need a taiko icon too. (likewise in my first ranked mapset, Ichinen, which it has taiko diffs from Dekaane).

I would map Kantan/Futsuu but there is only hard/insane in most taiko/standard mapsets.

hello there, going to do smth here soon

offset 31475 bpm 80
apply this and we will be able to move map forward
there can be few timing jitters but just +-5ms so not a big deal, let me know if you find something wrong
oh and... you video is most likely will go unsync

Is it truth that every timing section is really 80, not the current ones (or their values divided by 2) ?

The whole thing became confused, so I'm afraid because it can take more two years to adjust it all...

...unless a macro or something could be do these... I would work something in newLisp or Lazarus (Free Pascal) or Jscript... but nothing seems to appear here...

Title: Dexfrild's support in progress.
Description: Hitsound files changed and replaced (and raised volume of some of them on behalf of Kazuya suggest). Then, implanted in the Insane diff. Hitsounding will be implanted later (possibly tomorrow).
Recommendation for modders: wait until full update (probably until next sunday-tuesday).
DexFrild
Hi :)
Firstly, duplicate soft\normalsliderslide.waw and rename to Drumsliderslide. DO NOT forget, you have two custom drum samplesets.
Then duplicate soft-hitwhistle and rename to soft-slidertick

Set slidertick rate to 1 in Normal.
And I noticed a strange thing.. In Hard diff your break starts at 01:20:225 - I think you should use it for all diffs :3
And one more thing. It's up to you, I suggest you to mute final spinners.
!Download hitsounded diffs!

Write me if you have troubles.
Good Luck ;)

For all of your diffs:

03:53:975 - Having a hit sound here is not a good idea for me because the music is almost silenced down.

Normal:

02:37:475 (6) - Consider adding a new combo since things went a little too long.
03:01:100 (3) - Spacing could've been improved.
03:17:975 (2,3) - This symmetry spacing can definitely be improved.
03:27:725 (3,1) - Check spacing.
03:30:725 (3) - ^

Hard:

01:09:725 - Adding a note fits better. If your intention of 01:09:912 (6,7) were to follow the drums, then you should change 01:08:975 (4,5) to a rhythm to this to make the emphasis more effective.
01:20:225 - This is the only difficulty where the break starts here. Please make this setting consistent through all difficulties.

Good job you've done here in that patterns were interacting each other not only with symmetries, but also by 180 angle rotations.
