I often times focus my modding on placing and shapes, so I might not notice some issues in other parts.

[Normal]

General advice : I think it's a pretty good Normal in terms of enjoyability to play, and this rarely enough the case to be noticed !


• 00:21:657 (1,1) - There is a bit of polarity issue here, here is one among many possibility of making it clearer :
00:30:848 (2) - You can do a Ctrl+C of 1.
00:44:027 (1) - No overlapping of the previous slider.
• 00:58:246 (1) - Odd shape compared to the shape of your other sliders.
• 00:59:634 (1,2,3) - You have a symmetrical pattern, try to center it horizontally on the screen.
• 01:20:443 (1,2,3,4) - You have 2 polarity switching here, the problem is that the second one is not very readable. But by changing the first polarity the second one becomes clearer.
Like so for instance

You can either have a 1/2 slider or a circle for 2, or you can find another solution as well !
01:49:576 (3) - Move the shaping dot on the head to (360;260) (I took my ruler :p)
01:57:553 (3) - Align it with 2.
• 02:16:975 (4,1,2) - I suggest you to either remove 1 or do a rhythm like this :

General advice : I am less fan of it than I was with Normal, because the Normal was really better from an aesthetic standpoint, and of some rhythms an placing, but it's pretty nice nonetheless.

• 00:21:657 (1,1,2) - This rhythm doesn't feel nice here. I would rather do something like this :
• 00:28:073 (6,1,2) - This is hard to read, mostly because of where 1 is placed. I tried to make a different placing of everybody from 00:28:940 (1) to 00:30:154 (1), you should be able to see how it looks just with the picture below :
00:32:928 (1,2,3,4) - Odd shapes. Having Bézier curves is fine (I guess), but having them so discrete is strange.
00:35:009 (1,2,3,4,5) - You could look for a better-looking pattern.
00:42:639 (5) - No need for a Bézier curve I think.
00:55:125 (8) - This is not recommended. I used to use this kind of sliders, but apparently we should not, and I think a posteriori that it can almost always be replaced by something less "oldie".
• 00:57:900 (1) - You should consider breaking the symmetry because people will expect a jump here, which is actually not the case.
01:02:928 (5) - Would fit the vocal better if it were placed at 01:02:885.
01:06:223 (1,3) - See above, I don't think doing this is so bad, it's up to you.
• 01:09:345 (1,2,3) - This rhythm doesn't really fit into the music, try to rework it.
• 01:16:454 (4,7) - These sliders are really long !
01:22:004 (5,6) - You could replace these with circles.
02:03:796 (3) - You can overlap 02:02:755 (3)
02:04:836 (1) - You can overlap 02:03:449 (2)
02:25:298 (5,6,7) - You can look for a better flow :

[Insane]

General advice : This one has generally a nice flow and a good aesthetic, although some parts are strange to play.

• 00:21:657 (1) - I would really see a rhythm like pasted below play better :
• 00:25:298 (7,8) - These circles don't really fit the flow because you have to catch 00:25:645 (1) then. Maybe place them in the upper part of the grid ?
• 00:36:743 (3) - Snapping ?
00:38:824 (1) - Overlapping 6 looks and play fine.
• 00:44:027 (1) - If you do something like this, you can really overlap 5.
• 00:50:963 (1) - The shape should end in the direction of the stream.
• 01:06:570 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - These "Death Jumps" hurt a lot because there is no flow which can allow you to make them well, since it was broken by the 4->1 overlap.
01:52:004 (1,2) - You could replace one of these (or both) with a stream.
• 02:06:917 (1,2,3) - This triplet (the single one of the map ?) is really unexpected and thus, hard to read.
02:20:270 (1,2,3,4,5) - Strange pattern, but nothing illegal^^

  1. Let's try to reduce the video, because it have 19,4MB on it. Maybe reducing the quality could be better? If the video sucked after you reduce it (maybe to bad quality), then try to find a new video

  2. 00:31:888 (3,4) - ^
  3. 00:36:050 (1) - Maybe disable the curve whistle sound could be better.

  5. 01:48:189 (2,3) - Blanket it please.
  6. 01:58:940 (1,1) - Don't make stack in Normal.

hi, nice beatmap, just one thing, i would put OD on the insane a bit lower, maybe 6,5 or 7 to match the difficulty of your map. same with hard, put it on 5 maybe instead of 6

Spinner is a lot worse as the relationship of the map do not want to be aberrations.

  1. Your video looks pixelated and I'm sure that you can get a better-quality version of this video. Try to look for it!
  2. The same thing as I've mentioned above happens with your BG, I'm sure that there're some nicer ones. So, I tried to get some better ones. How do you like this or that one?
  3. Please, disable the letterboxes during breaks. They kinda hurt your video and don't look really good.
  4. Your kiais are inconsistent, please, try to fix it and keep them consistent. It is important to keep the spread consistent. ths may help you to fix it.
  5. 01:25:819 (1) - this spinner is way too long. It seems really boring in harder diffs and gives too much spinning in the Normal. Try to remov it, it doesn't sound really necessary here, anyway.
    Note: if you remove the spinner, probably you'll have to remove 01:42:293 (1) - this one, as well. Both the spinner and 01:45:761 (1) - the beats here sound overmapped and aren't really needed here. Since there're no beats in music, they can confuse players a lot.
  6. Try to increase volume of your hitsounds? The soft-hitnormal.wav during kiais is almost inaudible. :(
[Normal]
  1. AR4 will match better with your diff settings and slider velocity. Also, it will make your spread more balanced. I highly recommend you to use it.
  2. 00:21:657 (2,3) - minor - the transition here feels rather uncomfortable and forced. Try to make your flow softer? Here's an example of what you can do to make it look/play better
    Note: 00:58:246 (1,2) - pretty similar thing happens here. Please, take your time and try to improve your flow a bit, I'm sure that you'll be able to make your patterns look better! :)
  3. 00:33:275 (1) - the way how you switch from vocals to the music is rather hard to understand. To make the transition from red ticks to the white ones more readable, try to place an 1/1 slider at 00:32:928. Example
    Note: see this guide if you are unsure about this pattern.
  4. 00:49:576 - the downbeat here sounds way too strong, I'm sure that it deserves a circle, so your rhythm will be more understandable and logical. Try to finish 00:48:362 (3) - this slider at 00:49:229 - and then place a circle with a new combo 00:49:576 - there. THis way, you'll have a clear and playable transition from vocals to drums and the strong beat will be pointed out. Example
  5. 00:50:963 (1) - the spinner here doen't really match with the vocals and music. You can map this part easily and make it much more pleasant and fitting.See if it sounds better to you.
  6. 01:02:755 - ignoring this beat doesn't sound right to me. I'd rather go with something like 1/1 slider and one more 1/1 slider. example. This way, it matches perfectly with the music and plays easily.
    Note: don't forget to remove NC from 01:03:796 (1) - since it won't be necessary anymore.
  7. 01:06:223 (5) - try to add a new combo here, this combo chain seems to be too long and breaks your consistent comboing. :(
  8. 01:58:940 (1,2) - since both 01:57:553 (1,2) - and 01:58:246 (1,2) - were 1/2 stacks, some players may misread 01:58:940 (1,2) - as 1/2 stack as well. To avoid that confusion, try to unstack 01:58:940 (1,2).

    I'd recommend you to work more on your rhythm and flow, I like what you've got here so far, but it still needs some improvements!
[Hard]
  1. There are lots of minor (x0,1 ~ x0,3) spacing changes, they are noticeable but thye don't work as jumps since the DS changes are too minor. In general, they make your spacing appear quite random and might bug some players. Try to get rid of some of them and/or keep only the most important ones with higher DS.
    Note: 00:41:252 (1,2,3,4,5) - here's an example of those DS changes, if you need one.
  2. Try to use CS 3,5 here, it will make your spread more balanced. (N - 3 / H - 3,5 / I - 4) CS3 seems too big for that diff and makes it look a bit too easy, I think.
  3. 00:21:830 - even though you follow vocals, you shouldn't ignore music completely. The loud pano beat here sounds really confuising and makes 00:21:657 (1) - really uncomfortable to play. I'm highly suggesting you to start trhe slider at 00:21:830 - this point to make it more reasonable and playable.
  4. 00:49:402 (1) - since the drum/bass kicks in at 00:49:576 - the spinner shouls start at 00:49:402 (1) - as well. Starting it easier makes no sense with the song and feels random.
  5. 01:47:148 (4,5) - these two objects are clearly overmapped and 01:45:414 (1,2,3) - these, probably, are overmapped as well. Perhaps, you shuld finish the break later and avoid overmapping since it feels really confusing as it is now.

    The only thinh that really bugs me here is those minor spacing changes, apart from this, the diff seems okay. Try to get more opinions on it, please. the diff itself is quite alright, but it may need some more modding and some more improvements.
[Insane]
  1. 00:21:830 - the downbeat is here, and for the hardest diff, I wouldn't igore it so easily.
  2. 00:29:113 (4,5) - to add some variety and emphasize the piano, try to make a jump here. Something like this would work good, imo.
  3. 00:49:576 - same was with the hard diff, the spinner is off music.
    Note: it may not be noticeable instandard, but it is way too easy to spot in o!m/taiko. And since the diff is playable in these modes, you probably should fix that.
  4. 00:50:963 (1) - I feel uncomfortable with this slider, it doesn't represent the song as it should. Listen, 00:51:483 - vocals and 00:51:137 - music. I'd rather go with something different and try to point out the missed beats/vocals.
    Note: 01:02:235 - same here, you ignre qute a lot of important beats and it really bugs me.
  5. 01:22:871 (6) - holding this slider for so long will make players bored or nervous. try to break it into 3 or more sliders, so, players will keep moving?example

    I feel uncomfortable with the way how you ignore the instruments in some patterns, also I did not really like how the flow breaks in patterns like 01:08:998 (7,1) - when players "feel" your flow and it suddenly breaks, it feels rather tricky and confusing. At the same time, I liked a couple of your aideas, they were rally great, like 01:14:894 - the slowdown here, for example. All in all, you should pay more attention to your rhythm and flow and if you do it - this will be a really awesome diff!
The mapset needs more work, but it has potential and some great ideas. Keep improving!
