Problem details: My Osu! recently stopped working correctly and started having some issues. I tried many things to fix it but it didn't work. So here's the problem. I uninstalled Osu! and reinstalled it. I had my Songs folder backed up so i could have my beatmaps back without downloading them manually. I put the songs into the Osu! Songs folder and opened Osu!. It didn't seem to notice the beatmaps so I pressed F5 to see if that worked. It didn't. All it does is that it shows some beatmaps downloading for a split second and then does nothing. Please help and thank you. Sorry it's long.

Video or screenshot showing the problem:

osu! version: Stable 20191107.2 (latest)

Close the game and remove the osu!.db file from your osu! folder. When you start the game again and head back to the song selection screen you should see all of your beatmaps start to reprocess (that means you removed the correct file).

I tried it. The db file is a database file, right? So i deleted it and closed the Osu! folder just in case. I launched Osu! and went to the song list but it's still not working.

Did the song list reprocess? I don't think it should be possible for it to not do anything with that file missing, it needs to recreate it. If it didn't reprocess are you sure your beatmaps are actually in your Songs folder correctly?

So i checked it and it wasn't working. I checked the Osu! folder and it had redownloaded the db file. So i deleted it and tried again. The same problem still occurs.

I checked the Songs folder and everything seemed fine. The beatmaps were in the place they were supposed to be. Oh, and a new problem started appearing too. My Osu! starts on the wrong monitor and freezes the other. Part of the reason why i had to uninstall.

Reinstalling (or rolling back) your graphics drivers might help with the freezing issue.

Can you take a picture of the song selection screen in-game using Shift+F12 and open your osu! folder from the options menu in-game and take a picture of your Songs folder so I can have a look?

Here's the picture

I'm sorry but I don't know how to add the screenshot of my Osu! songs folder to this comment.

So... you do have songs in the game.

Click on the "open osu! folder" button in the options menu and just make sure that the songs you are trying to add to the game are in the correct folder. It is possible to have more than one osu! install on your computer at a time. If you are making modifications to the osu! folder that isn't running, nothing is going to happen.

It didn't work. Too bad. I guess i have to download them manually.

My last post was just asking you to verify information, not to do anything though... So I have no idea what "didn't work."
