[Archived] Editor black screen, fixed by ctrl+alt+delete ?

Problem details: Osu editor black screen, returns to normal after ctrl+alt+delete. Graphics card Nvidia 2080, driver version 430.86 (latest). Resolution is 1440p.


Video or screenshot showing the problem: It's literally a black screen when I open the editor.


osu! version: Stable 20190611.2 (latest)

Do you have multiple monitors? and are they running different resolutions?

I am playing on full screen with compatibility mode off, correct.

Yes, I'm running my primary monitor at 1440p, and my secondary monitor at 1080p.

Please try running the monitors at the same resolution, or unplugging the second one.

Do these fix the issue?

If so, please feel free to complain about it on Nvidia's drivers forum, as it's been an issue with their drivers since Mid/Late April.

https://forums.geforce.com/default/board/33/geforce-drivers/ Unforuntely their site has been down for 2 days.

This did fix the problem, I'll direct my complaint to the nvidia forum. Much appreciated!

If you still wanna use different res for your screens you can rollback the driver version to the previous ones u had till this gets fixed.
