This guy has been developing his own DS game for 5 years, and all he needed to finish it was the Nitro SDK, Nintendo's official devkit. So to obtain it, he did what any mature person would do: Lock himself into mommy's basement for 100 days. He's currently been writing blog posts with things like "EVERYONE SUKS I IS BEST DVELEPER IN UNIVERSE" in them, making everyone rage. Some people thought he was just acting insane for the attention, though.

Well, he's now officially screwed. And probably certifiably insane.

I was hoping he'd just release it as homebrew. I suppose this result is better, though.
EDIT: Also, what company would publish a game with so many stereotypes in it (Besides Rockstar (Take 2, wtf was I thinking) of course >.>). I mean, just look at the trailer, anyone who published that would be put into a poor light instantly.

Gee, and I just saw him quit today earlier too. @_@;

First I thought he turned insane from his arrogant post. Then I'm getting sick of his insanity writings, and oops, he failed. :x

Okay, so /v/ got the police on him after faking his death.
His website now says:

If bob actually locked himself in his room without an internet connection, and updates his blog via email on a phone, perhaps he is completely unaware that his blog has been hacked by 4channers. Or perhaps he is aware but can't fix it. Because either way it's pretty clear that the website is just making fun of him at this point.

Bob is obviously playing a stunt here. He switches between persona's and right now it's the evil one. It's his way of getting attention, and... by the looks of it, he's succeeding.

I disagree. I think it can be fun. 200 characters with different personalities, puzzles and stuff. And it's made by an insane person, so it could be fun.

Reality check? EVERY company is like this. Even the "good old" Nintendo. The only difference there is that they had a couple of really good creative developers working with long leashes who delivered the goods.

Looks like Bob has a pretty good engine here. I wish he'd hurry up and release it as homebrew already. All this sensationalism is getting old.

Okay, Mr. Pelloni actually released a demo. No, seriously.
The attempts at humor are dull and ripped off of other sources, the transition between areas hangs (on my G6 DS Real at least) rather than smooth transitioning that Bob promised and the overall game is dumb. I got to this supa original tetris minigame with blocks that are missing parts... Like it would have a block in the shape of an L-block, but it would be missing a block in the last part where the horizontal block comes out.... You'd have to play it to see what I mean.You Yuu can't pause or stop the game, so... Also no sleep mode. I stopped trying the tetris game after it made me fail like 5 times. It's really easy and then the blocks go fast and it's hard to control so.. I'm rather good at normal tetris and would be good at this if it ran off a similar engine to Tetris DS maybe... Foul stopped after even less tries I think. I may try more later, but this is most definitely not BEST GAME EVA' material...

Speaking of Nintendo... They are not giving out SDK to everyone. Only for specified companys that are "good for nintendo".
Even my PB Game Studios can't get one. Eh, poor guy. Whatever, homebrew scene isn't bad too, really! :)
