understandable, i suppose you know the feeling of having seen something you loved or thought was interesting from them but then just... completely feeling robbed of the actual experience of how it looked and sounded, maybe you hear songs you wished you could hold onto and re-create, or maybe you saw ideas for character designs or character relationships that were interesting for you but then just couldnt hold onto them before they vanished

they are still hard to remember for me, most of the time i dont remember them so much as remember that certain plot points might have happened, its super time-sensitive for me and i try to summarize everything i can, but sometimes i dont remember to do that either. i love love love dreams but i dont often know what exactly they are, and i tend to feel like i have quite vivid compelling dreams but once im awake its kind of like they never happened and i forget all the details that i wanted to memorize and record somewhere :c

some of those dreams are so haunting and scary (in a positive way, because i usually like those), where totally mysterious things just kind of happen in such creative and strange ways. sometimes the relationships between people in my dreams are just so interesting, and seeing how i interact with them also feels so real and important, but i just... forget what it looked like or how it happened or what it felt like at each moment

i really wish we all could hold onto those... some dreams feel like they lasted so long, like maybe multiple days or sometimes multiple months, sometimes there are time-skips too... and they all feel like a wonderful escape from living, or if not that then at least they're like... extra lifetimes that exist outside of our real-world environments and contexts, and thats just so wonderful

or at least, it would be, if we knew how to hold onto them...

yeah that makes sense, im sorry those dreams keep ending like that though, that does sound sad :(

i dont have the same thing bc i never really had real-life idols in the same way pop-culture idols exist for people, but i think it might be close... for me, its old childhood friends and teachers i used to know/love, i have dreams of reuniting with them or watching them move on and have happy lives with other friends, or we maybe meet and resolve old thoughts and feelings i dreamed of, and i always miss them a lot when i wake up ;v;

sometimes its more like, old nostalgic places, too... which makes it even more sweet and even more sad

the way i attach to people is so weird for me, its like it doesnt make up its mind? i care so much in my dreams but in real life its hard to think/feel things about them clearly;;

anyway, i love the ambwell designs, specifically mister ambrose...!! confetti in the hair though oh no x'p

hopefully bandu of the ashbluffs will have a wonderful birthday <3

lots of thoughts that wont form clearly. lots of sadness that i try to savor from myself, bittersweet feelings and nostalgia for lives and experiences i never had, for people i've never been. i wish my personality was a little more adaptable, and a lot more varied. i wish i could sincerely experience and express things the way others do, and although i do try to appreciate my own experiences and expressions... they dont seem to surface very easily, and theyre usually so hazy and foggy... after all, most of my experience is that of watching other people and loving them through that

it doesnt really make for a good individual life of my own, though...

but i guess i never wanted the one i had anyway

i appreciate the thought/sentiment a lot, thank you, it doesnt exactly change anything but... it usually feels good to cherish more joy and indulgence from other people <3
