in other news, i've fucked up big time.
the laptop fell as i was getting out of the shower, and hit the shower/bath ledge. the fan seems to making a pretty creepy grinding noise right now. the laptop is otherwise functional. it's not getting hot or anything.
i plan on getting inside to take a look and see what i can do about it.
this laptop's seen a good several falls but this one definitely had an effect, while the other falls merely dented the edges and corners of the laptop.
eugh. this sucks.

Though it's just a few plugins for autocompletion and syntax highlighting. I just hadn't thought of using vscode for latex earlier. I was using notepad++ still
The one thing I can't do is display pdfs inside vscode, I still need to alt tab to my PDF viewer. And by "I can't" I mean "I tried one plugin and it didn't work".

Well you could always lock one window on the left of your screen and other on the right instead of having to alt tab back and forth no?
