That was a fast mod. I wasn't even finished adjusting the notes. I didn't even realize the offsets were different... That's why the preview times are off to, because I used the first beat as the preview time.


Made everything consistent.


BTW I don't need a break anywhere. It's not a requirement.

you should make game time same as on a hard >< i know bcz already faced such problem I'll keep them the same lengths for right now. My reasoning is that Normal+ is pretty tiring as it is and adding 30 seconds more will only increase the difficulty rating even more.Normal and Easy are also pretty slow and perhaps people would like those maps more if I didn't slug through the whole song. They aren't missing anything.

Good stuff. I had some minor issues with a couple difficulties though and I'll go over a few examples.

Easy:
No problems.

Normal:
No problems.

Hard:
This difficulty really seems sort of uninspired and untidy in general, but this is the issue I'm particularly concerned about.

01:02:244 (3,4,5,6,1) - Inconsistent spacing should only be used when the inconsistency is consistent, if that makes any sense.
01:05:035 (3,4,5,6,7) - ^

Harder:
This one was actually really good. I understand you remapped it recently. I think this one is superior in style to Hard and Insane. It seems much tidier.

Insane:
I honestly think this difficulty feels a little cleaner than Hard, but there are still some tidiness issues. Patterns like 00:42:535 (1,2,3,4,5,6) still seem very... formless. Remember that every pattern is crucial in a truly stellar map. There is no filler.

01:21:430 (2) - This seems a bit awkward. Did you intend the slider to be so short? I assume maybe you were trying to map strictly to the vocals. Remember, even when mapping strictly to vocals, keep the flow in mind.



If you have refined your mapping ability to such a degree that you can remap a difficulty and make it noticeably superior, that might be a good reason to remap the other difficulties if you have the motivation in you. You should just move on to another map if you don't have that motivation. I suggest you at least go through Hard and Insane with the same fine tooth comb you apparently went over Harder with. If I were you, I might even drop Hard and adjust the other difficulties accordingly. When mapping, you really have to focus on making every pattern count. While I imagine the things I've pointed out are by no means unrankable, taking them into consideration may be valuable.

You make some very valid points. The reason Insane and Hard don't look as clean is because they are older difficulties that I made before I realized what the beat actually was. Then when I remapped Harder, the beat hit me like a brick and I managed to map it quite nicely. Hard recently went over some pattern modifications to make it play better, and included more jumps into it. I think I overdid it in spots, and will tone some of the spacings down. So really Hard is a hybrid of me realizing the whole beat, but keeping the style I mapped with the old beat at the same time.

Insane has gone through so serious beat alterations. The 1/3rd sections have been modified heavily again. I've replaced multiple notes with sliders, added more patterns, and fixed up the streams at the very end. I also decided to map the break in the middle, which is adding a considerable amount of points to the final score. It's probably still not perfect and it might take me a few days to get the patterns perfect. Although a really good mod post could help me polish my patterns.

In short, here's list of problems you need to solve:

  1. Comboing. Usually new combos denote new moment in music. Since music has its own logic and can be divided into sections (see wiki link for some details), every NC is supposed to mark the beginning of new section (with the right timing, beginning usually looks like a big white tick).
    1. You skip it a lot of white ticks and put NC to other notes/sliders around it. I don't know why, maybe you're trying to keep pattern combos, but you better change it according to musc and put NCs in another places ony if you really need that.
    2. The second thing about comboing is that it should be consistent. I mean, you can't go with two stanzas in red, then three in blue, then one in yellow. You should try to keep combo size constant; usual distance between two new combos is one big white tick (tick w/ combo — tick — tick w/ combo etc) and (when the music is too fast or/and there are many objects) no ticks (every big white one has a NC).
    3. Diffs that have this problem: any
  1. Hitsound patterns. Well, hitsounds are supposed to follow the music and rhythm at all. In 99% of cases, you need a clap pattern that follows beats; the most fitting one is 2-4 (big white tick — clap — white tick — clap). Remember, if you chose one of clap patterns, change it only if music starts to change, otherwise player can miss new rhythm and take it as no rhythm at all.
    1. Anyway, if you modify pattern (or add some random claps to it that sound really good), it's okay if it still fits the music. In some cases you may even remove claps if they get mixed with, for example, whistle (music still has a beat, so claps don't disappear comlpetely), but don't do it too often.
    2. Also, you tend to skip finishes when they do exist in music. It's always better to apply them to notes so they sound better.
    3. Diffs that have this problem: any
  1. So-called "flow". I always have problems with describing this thing and the best analogy so far is drawing pictures and other stuff. In short, your beatmap must be comfortable enough to play (player doesn't need to do unnatural movements), all the elements should match each other and look organic. The sliders need to be good-looking; try to avoid using lots of linear stuff in a row and ugly curves.
    1. The best diffs in your set are Insane and Harder (partially), so diffs that have this problem are Easy, Normal and Hard (especially).

Perhaps it's because I made it as my stream Hard. Harder is my remapped Hard. This is the bridge between Normal and Harder. This diff has the streams I didn't manage to implement in Insane. The note heavy beat is because the slider velocity is slow, and I'm not changing the SV. And a lot of those inaccurate spacings are probably on purpose, because I purposely designed most of the spacings to be a certain way. I'll try to improve this difficulty where I see fit, but the whole purpose was to have a note heavy map style. I might remove if it's an unfixable difficulty, but at the moment I've increased spacing in some areas, and fixed some parts that felt really off. I'll continue to make changes where I feel necessary tomorrow.

Harder
  1. 01:11:547 (2,3) - you could make all doubles less spaced, so they are easier to hit Umm are they too hard to hit?
  2. 02:15:500 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - looks boring, plays boring Curved the sliders. ._.
Insane
  1. 00:39:570 (1,2,3,4) - you don't need soft sampleset for these sliders. Really It sounds weird without soft sampleset. I'm sorry.
  2. 01:20:965 (4,5) - I lol'd. Nice spacing, people will surely have fun ._.
  3. 02:03:640 (2) - better use normal sampleset on streams to follow music. Also, it makes player pass them better because he's able to hear game's reaction on his hits

In short, here's list of problems you need to solve:

  1. Comboing. Usually new combos denote new moment in music. Since music has its own logic and can be divided into sections (see wiki link for some details), every NC is supposed to mark the beginning of new section (with the right timing, beginning usually looks like a big white tick).
    1. You skip it a lot of white ticks and put NC to other notes/sliders around it. I don't know why, maybe you're trying to keep pattern combos, but you better change it according to musc and put NCs in another places ony if you really need that.
    2. The second thing about comboing is that it should be consistent. I mean, you can't go with two stanzas in red, then three in blue, then one in yellow. You should try to keep combo size constant; usual distance between two new combos is one big white tick (tick w/ combo — tick — tick w/ combo etc) and (when the music is too fast or/and there are many objects) no ticks (every big white one has a NC).Vocals start 1/1 later than the white ticks. So I generally start the new combo on the vocal start. Of course there were parts where it was off, when I placed new combos on particular vocal cues. I will largely make the combos consistent.
    3. Diffs that have this problem: any
  1. Hitsound patterns. Well, hitsounds are supposed to follow the music and rhythm at all. In 99% of cases, you need a clap pattern that follows beats; the most fitting one is 2-4 (big white tick — clap — white tick — clap). Remember, if you chose one of clap patterns, change it only if music starts to change, otherwise player can miss new rhythm and take it as no rhythm at all.
    1. Anyway, if you modify pattern (or add some random claps to it that sound really good), it's okay if it still fits the music. In some cases you may even remove claps if they get mixed with, for example, whistle (music still has a beat, so claps don't disappear comlpetely), but don't do it too often.
    2. Also, you tend to skip finishes when they do exist in music. It's always better to apply them to notes so they sound better.
    3. Diffs that have this problem: any
  1. So-called "flow". I always have problems with describing this thing and the best analogy so far is drawing pictures and other stuff. In short, your beatmap must be comfortable enough to play (player doesn't need to do unnatural movements), all the elements should match each other and look organic. The sliders need to be good-looking; try to avoid using lots of linear stuff in a row and ugly curves.
    1. The best diffs in your set are Insane and Harder (partially), so diffs that have this problem are Easy, Normal and Hard (especially).

That's all, nice map, creative on the hitsound patterns, however some parts seem to be a bit empty.
Needs a bit of work on the looks, I mentioned some parts in the mod, most likely there are more things which could look a tiny bit nicer which you should take a look at.
