  1. 00:02:749 (9,10,11) - You should have shown the difference between pitches on these two parts imo. 00:05:149 (19,20,21,22,23) - has way higher pitch.
    So maybe change into d k k k d or smth like that. If you changed, adjust 00:16:120 (78,79,80,81,82) - according to the change you did.
  2. 00:22:977 - How about higher SV so ninja notes could represent cheer sounds better :^)
  3. 01:17:835 - Ninja notes are cool, u know :^
  4. 01:36:949 (538,539) - This sound isn't same as 01:35:577 (525,526) -, so maybe change 01:36:692 (535,536,537,538,539) - to kkkkd as you did at 04:45:949 (384,385,386,387,388) - to show the difference. 01:42:435 (589,590) - for consistency.

04:57:349 - delete this note, because this really messes up the playability on the last 1/6, since the same 1/6 pattern was repeated throughout the entire earlier map, which conditions the player to start hit the kddk with the main hand and the kkkkkkd with their secondary hand
00:14:406 - not entirely sure about finishers like this throughout the entire map since you're emphasizing a faint crash over strong main sounds like 00:14:749 - .. its kinda interesting and i can see it working, but i'd suggest rethinking it a little bit and seeing if you can come up with an option that also puts strong emphasis on the main sounds

that's basically it.. very solid map lol

  • I would recommend OD6.5 because BPM is moderate only. But I know this map is intended for pp so /shrug

I was thinking of reply that so here I am.

Well, most of the people misunderstand pp mapping. It means that anyone make a map to farm some pp. We all know what kind of song Midnaait maps. He makes meme maps that includes past memes like We are Number One, UNDERTALE, Spooky Scary Skeletons and more. Since STD version of Cycle Hit got so popular lately, it makes sense that he mapped it.

Since you criticized him that heavily, then you are able to tell how else it could be mapped. Strong buzz sounds and 1/6 notes fit clearly, so I can't see any element about overmapping.

I have a bubbled map like this as well and 1/6 patterns are placed over similar sounds. You might say "wtf zigi arent you metal mapper why did you map a song from nanahira" now. Well, I don't map only metal. I map all genres, as long as they're nice to my ears (includes songs about loli, yeah).

Don't think I'm trying to justify the pp. First off, I play this game just for fun. Otherwise, I'd be trying to FC 6,50* maps until my eyesight deteriorate. Also, why would I do that or make a "free pp map"? I won't even attempt to FC them anyway. Even if I do, top players will make 600+ pp play, when I make max. 300pp. By the way, nice top plays. I thought you don't care pp.

I tried to answer potential questions you might go to ask, so you will come with less question mark (or never come lol).

Once and for all, you can criticize anyone's map. That's your god-given right, but if you do it by insulting, they will treat you like you treat them.

not gonna bother making a relevant reply, since because i don't map or mod then i'm not allowed to have an opinion on anything

so i'll ask this instead:

can we please get some kind of update on star rating calculations so that this map and every other map that abuses 1/6 or 1/8 patterns isn't super overweighted? it's overcentralizing the mapping meta by requiring songs to be mapped in a certain way (and only certain songs being viable to map) in order to boost star rating and make the maps relevant. it's getting to a point like in standard where almost every map feels the same, and i think it's a direct result of people caring too much about pp based on a broken star rating system.

but why so serious to pay attention on the star rating or something something "pepe" ? please, dont blame the mapper if its a system. you need to care it on related context like t/181852/start=630 in here right? mapped like this because yeah song it is, I even more upset if seeing a ranked map with something hard or really trolling with low sr.. but uh its just game and everyone has a different way to enjoy this game. but why with this solid consistent map that would be easier if get pracite more / played alot, you got mad just because of that, the star rating "system"? is not that weird?
