Try using the mp3 from your iPod or iTunes. The music doesn't have to come from the video.Somenoob wrote:
Ok, so i have the video up with the help of vix, but when i try to make mp3 only, it failed on me and the music simply would not play. The music comes form the video i have, but i need a way too extract it into audio only, but not get that very same error (and i have tried twice).
This 'video offset' thingamajig is what you're looking for.Gilrad wrote:
STEP 3
F2 in editor, click Insert Background Video. Use the slider below to adjust the start time offset.
My video starts 16sec before the song, it means when i'm adding the video as a background if i offset it at -10000ms, it still doesnt fit with the song (6000ms too long). I tried to cut my video with sony vegas pro, but osu stopped responding me and crashed, (or something like that...) when I added it as background.Gens wrote:

What is the maximal allowed size for videos in beatmaps plz?
Try to keep osz files under 10mb, or 24mb if you include a video/storyboard (please remove the audio track from video files to save space). In short, all of your maps components added up together must be less than 24mb. If you have a large .mp3 file, lik 6mb large, you can have at max a 18mb video. Just make sure to encode your video correctly when making it (Hint: you can always follow t/96003).

If you haven't already, remove the audio from the video.YOURS wrote:
