Ryuk actually killed Light in the end even though he stated in the beginning of the series that he would kill Light with that very first death note. & also that Misa committed suicide, Mikami died in jail from being a dumbass & that Light's father died.
Freaked the hell out of me but I saw the ending like 2 years ago. Besides, I was only 13. v_v

Most of Satoshi Kon's stuff (Millennium Actress & Tokyo Godfathers have pretty straightforward endings, everything else is nuts) and Akira.
Not so much wtf but disappointment-wtf. Gantz, the anime. Everyone just being killed off. I believe they didn't have the budget to support it anymore so everyone just got killed in the show as the final ep. Though the manga continues I believe.
I wish they did that with some such as Read or Die, 12 episodes of action and intrigue to kick it off and then 12 episodes of crying to close it, my god it was terrible, all of them dying in it would have been enjoyable by that point.Zelmarked wrote:
