This is the winning entry for the Aspire #2 Contest, where traditional game rules could be broken. Unrankable maps like this will not become the norm. Winning the Aspire contest, which happens only once every year, is the only way for stuff like this to become ranked.

Because it literally explains the reason it got ranked in the map description...
By the way, another aspire map will be getting ranked soon, so don't be too surprised by it.
Their message was literally copied exactly from the map description.

howd big black get ranked then cus not under 2* and shorter than 5 mins
and scarlet rose??
Cause they old maps, back when maps don't need to be 5 minutes to be appoved

and scarlet rose?? maps back then (before at most 2013) didn't have to be longer than 5 minutes for approval, if I remember correctly (which i probably dont) they had to have at least 1 mil score to be approved as a single diff.
If you want to see other ranked aspire maps there's also LeaF - Evanescent and Helblinde - The Solace of Oblivion
