Pokemon, yugioh, and I remember I was once really addicted to naruto and bleach 
Dragon Ball Z and YuYu Hakusho.
I even remembered when the TV station who aired it here renamed Yuyu Hakusho to Ghost Fighter lol.
I think most Filipinos would still name it that way.
Wooh, I still remember the days when we had great Filipino dubbers.
To add, I really really love Voltes 5!

Pokemon, after the time and when I'm getting 12, I relaized that the Anime actually sucks.

Cardcaptor Sakura, some people laugh me out when I told that I watch this, but I really liked it.
Seriously, screw that Inuyasha, Yugioh! (well the first or 2nd season wasn't bad so) and DBZ crap. =w=

Trigun and Rurouni Kenshin... I loved both, watching Rurouni Kenshin everyday on Toonami, then Trigun every night on Adult Swim. FLCL and Cowboy Bebop was also great. I don't think Samurai Champloo was around yet in Summer 2003. I watched DBZ and Pokemon before these of course, but they weren't the shows that made me love the anime genre.

I'd say Goku from DBZ, either that or DBZ was the only anime I watched in my childhood.
Of course, Pokemon, maybe Tokyo Mew Mew (or, Mew Mew Power on American TV, but the English dub sucked)

Cowboy Bebop, not exactly child friendly, but I recall liking it probably because of that.
