I guess I'll have to say Pokemon for lack of any exposure to any anime before about 4 years ago.

And even then it was only a few episodes if I could wake up early enough.

Most memorable anime (probably the first one as well) I've watched when I was a kid. It was a nice slow-pace comedy :D

Judging from my age of 12-15, I'd say Yakitate Japan. It was pretty much my first anime 7 years ago.

I look at Sinistro's list and I'm just like...

...Why didn't I know anime earlier?

Also, is it bad that my childhood anime was Cased Closed (I should really say Detective Conan, it's used more.)

Hmm, are you saying this in a Malaysian context? Then are you from Malaysia, kokoroanime?

For me:
Doraemon (for 18 years now, and still loving him. In fact, he's the one who taught me how to speak when I was a tot, in Malay dub of course)
Cardcaptor Sakura
Dragonball Z
Sailormoon (until it got stopped midway :( )
Digimon (still do, for some reason)
Pokemon, first season

Funny thing is, I don't even know they are termed as anime until I entered high school. We just simply called them cartoon then (which in the general sense, is actually not wrong)
Sander-Don
