[General]
- I would suggest increasing the OD/HP of BASIC to 7/7 since there aren't a lot of LNs and most of it is simple 1/1.
- For HARD, I'd tone down the OD/HP to 7.5/7.5 since 8 seems a little much for the difficulty.
- Disable countdown.
[BASIC]00:07:272 (7272|1) - I would consider moving this to 1 so that the note is isolated from 00:06:929 (6929|3,7615|2) - which gives it a little emphasis for the crash I think.
00:08:986 (8986|1,9672|0) - I would also consider removing these and just using notes for the crashes. Or you could use 2/1 jumps like this
https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/717416100:16:357 - I think it'd be a good idea to add a note here to represent the 1/4 synth, since it gets a little faster compared to the rest of the measure.
00:19:615 - 00:20:300 - Since they're 2/1 apart, I would add an extra note for the crash. Maybe [12][34] like this?
https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/717418000:21:843 - 00:23:215 - Add notes for a similar reason to what I mentioned a few lines above. It's basically just simplifying the 1/4 into 1/2.
00:27:157 (27157|3) - Consider making this a 2/1 LN and ending at 00:27:843 - for the reverse cymbal or whatever.
00:27:500 (27500|2) - Similarly, I would remove this note since there's no kick on it and only a bass synth, so it would help to lead into the next section with a bit of silence here.
00:30:929 (30929|0,30929|1) - I would make this single since there's no crash here
00:31:957 (31957|3,31957|2) - Similar to the above, the previous notes were kicks + crashes which gave them a lot of emphasis, but this is only a crash which is kind of baseless on its own, so I'd remove a note here to reflect the loss in musical intensity in this measure. Like this
https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/717422500:32:300 (32300|1,32643|2) - Similarly, would make these doubles for the crash, and would also turn 00:32:986 (32986|0,32986|3) - into a single LN for the lead into the next measure, like so
https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/717423700:37:786 (37786|1,38129|1,38472|0,38815|1) - This feels kind of heavy on the left hand. I would try something like this instead to balance it out more
https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/717424700:43:957 (43957|0,43957|1) - Imo, I don't think the vocal here is emphasized enough for two notes. Rather, it'd stand out more if you made it into a 1/1 LN since the pattern would be different compared to what the player is used to.
00:52:529 (52529|2,53215|3,53900|3) - I would consider switching the position of the columns here so that the LN is in 4 and the short notes in 3 since it's easier to single tap with the index finger than it is with the middle.
01:12:072 (72072|3) - Move this to 3? I don't really see a reason for 01:11:729 (71729|3,72072|3) - to be stacked.
01:12:757 (72757|1,74129|0,74815|1,75500|2) - I'd consider removing these notes to help emphasize the pauses between kicks, since this sound is only a bass synth and isn't as noticeable as the stronger percussion sounds.
01:22:015 (82015|0) - Might recommend turning this into a 1/1 LN so that it can be capped with 01:22:357 (82357|1) -
01:27:843 (87843|1,87843|2) - I think a double is too much for this sound. Before, it was the vocal + clap which made sense, but this is only the vocal and it's a lead into the next measure, so the song kind of feels like it's holding its breath right before the kiai comes in
01:39:157 (99157|2,99157|1) - Just my own opinion, but I think [14] chords are better for ending off a song since they feel like they're encompassing the entire chart. Anyways, that's just my input for it.
[MEDIUM]00:03:672 - Why not add a note here for the synth? The sound is similar to 00:02:986 (2986|1) - or 00:02:300 (2300|1) - for example
00:07:786 - ^
00:08:643 - Think it would be good to add another note in 4 here for the crash, and to make a 1/1 stack.
00:09:329 - Similar to the above here. You might try this
https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/717434100:16:015 - 00:16:357 - 00:16:700 - Think it'd be beneficial to add notes here for the transition into the 1/1 kicks, like this
https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/717435100:27:157 (27157|3) - Would recommend turning this into a 2/1 LN for the reverse cymbal.
00:30:929 (30929|0,30929|1) - I would make this a single note only since it's just a kick and there's no extra emphasis from the crashes here.
00:31:957 (31957|3) - Similar to the above, I would remove this note since there's only a crash here but no kick.
00:33:843 - 00:34:186 - 00:34:529 - 00:36:586 - and so on. I find it kind of flow breaking when you decide to map only some of the synths with 1/2 and ignore the others. If you do that, the player won't be able to get the structure of the song down, so readability becomes harder since you don't know what to expect to play, even midway through this transitional section.
00:52:529 - Rather than use 1/2 notes for this, I'd just consider using a 4/1 LN with two notes at 00:53:215 - for the crash to differentiate the increase of kicks from 1/2 -> 1/4, like this
https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/717442801:14:129 (74129|0,74815|0,75500|0) - I'd rather you delete these notes since they're only vocals and compared to the crashes at 01:14:472 (74472|2,74472|3,75157|3,75157|2) - , they're not nearly as emphasized. So if you make it single - double - single, it helps contrast the different intensities of sound.
01:24:072 - 01:25:443 - 01:26:129 - 01:26:815 - 01:27:157 - 01:27:500 - Would consider using doubles for these places since they're accented with crashes
01:28:529 (88529|2,88700|1,88872|3,89043|2,89215|1,89386|3,89557|2) - This pattern feels right hand heavy. I would consider an arrangement more like this to be balanced
