[general]
I'm throwing around terms like "symmetry" and "honeycombs". If you don't know what they mean, or want examples:
symmetry - This map is very symmetrical on almost all the difficulties, and looks good as a result. It doesn't have to all by symmetrical, but at least some parts would be nice.
Mapping techniques - search in this forum for any sorts of mapping techniques (like honeycombs) with examples.
Making delicious sliders - This will tell you how to make perfectly symmetrical sliders.
I only pointed out a few things at the beginning of the map. That doesn't mean the rest of the map is good, just that those problems repeat throughout the map.
If you only want the kiai for the stars, make the kiai section only 1/2 beat long or so. Also, it's best to keep kiai consistent in between difficulties.
Use AImod (ctrl+shift+A). Easy and normal should have very few spacing errors. Hard and Insane should have spacing errors, but you should be able to attribute each of them to a jump.
[easy]
Slider speed is awfully low...
00:10:511 (1,2) - Can you make (2) either square with (1), or somehow put in some symmetry?
00:23:602 (1) - move the middle node up 1 so the slider is symmetrical.
Boring map, even for an easy. If you could work on making shapes, honeycombs, copy/paste/rotate/flip on sections, it would seem a lot nicer.
[normal]
Spacing is very low. It would be better at 0.8x, like you had in easy (this is actually a good idea in almost all beatmaps to have 0.8x to 1.2x)
00:01:420 (4,1) - this is a strange "jump".
00:04:330 (4,1) - this "jump" isn't the same distance as the previous two. You should probably not even bother with them.
00:03:239 (1,2,3,4) - spacing here is 0.5x
00:04:693 (1,2,3,4) - spacing here is 0.4x
Looking at the song, you seem to have put in an awful lot of these strange spacings. The rhythms, as starrodkirby said, are fine, but I think you should remap this, focusing on symmetry.
[hard]
00:00:420 (2,5) - move these over to the next blue note.
00:02:875 (4,1) - see below, though this one is less important as it's a new combo.
00:06:330 (2,3,4,5) - due to the way osu stacks sliders, there is a slight jump between (2) and (3). Unless there is some good reason, I wouldn't stack the sliders like you did, or at least not so often, and not here.
00:07:966 (4,5,6,1,2,3,4) - short sliders like this should just be straight. Don't try to curve them, it looks bad.
00:23:602 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - you did this right
00:36:693 (1,1) - maybe do something interesting with these, like put the red dots on the slider ticks, or make long curved sliders/S shaped sliders.
00:42:511 (1,1) - these are just ugly.
01:18:511 (7) - make it a repeating slider or map the 3 beats here.
01:20:330 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - take 1 repeat off of each of these
01:22:511 (7) - take off 1 repeat, but add a 1/2 slider at the end of it.
[insane]
00:01:420 (2) - keep an ear on the music, there's a lot of queues for hitsounds you can use. For example, here there is a big cymbal crash, so put a finish on just the first beat.
00:10:693 (3,4) - you could try connecting these types of notes by a slider.
00:19:239 (1) - Try a pattern like this:
http://up.ppy.sh/files/screenshot015-23.jpgYou can use that wherever it fits, and you can mix around where the sliders/circles are, just make sure that you keep that rhythm.
00:32:693 (3) - I don't like having notes like this covering up when you could have it be just circles, or point the slider up/down. When you do that, you'll see the spacing is way off too.
01:11:602 (1) - Rhythm again.
http://up.ppy.sh/files/screenshot016-38.jpgI find it's better to map to a certain part of the song, rather than just make up a rhythm. Again, replace with sliders/whatever, just keep that rhythm going!
01:22:511 (1,2) - be super careful with stuff like this. Anti-jumps are usually not fun.
01:23:239 (1) - this is insane, right? Use circles instead of a repeating slider, or split up the long slider into smaller ones.
01:26:148 (1) - if you find yourself wanting to use 1/8ths, you should probably use a spinner instead.
01:52:330 (1) - To be honest, I don't like spinners when they map silence (or almost silence in this case).
Don't give up! It's not close to being done yet, but I'm impressed with hard and insane (easy and normal not so much) so you get my star.
There's a lot of stuff you still have to learn on your own, or you can just follow the mods of everyone in the thread, and apply it to sections they
didn't mention.
