title, you just rightclick it and there should be an option for adding it to your online favourites.

Yup
Adding maps as favourite is quite a hassle, since you need to play the map first.

More convenient shortcuts, the better. Nice and simple.

I think that's not a bad thing as people will favorite big bleck without ever passing it (with NF).
You can also favorite via the website which is quickly accessible via the speechbubble near the ranking selection. The amount of clicks between click on the bubble and then on favorite is the same as for rightclick and favoriting, therefore this idea appears useless to me.

Then your browser needs to be fast
The amount of work is the same, I agree, but this is A LOT faster

Is there a general shortcut request I can bump?

The more shortcuts exist, the less intuitive things become. Either you will get a giant list of possible options where it takes a good amount of time to find the right one or in terms of keyshortcuts almost none will be aware of all of them.

*cough* Blender *cough*
Shortcuts are best for repetative tasks which would take longer to do otherwise. Some are just used to going 100% shortcut, having the longest key combos in existance.

Yep, and is favoriting a repetitive task?
No, you don't favorite every map, only a (very) small percentage.

Oh I think I went a bit off-topic, whoops.
It was regarding my general shortcut request comment, not this request specifically. I can agree that favorites dont really need shortcuts.

Since I read you can now have more then 50 favourites, it happens more often nowadays!

What meaning can a favorite have when you favorite every second beatmap though?

Quick beatmap recovery in case you are using another computer

That doesn't make any sense, abraker, should I get 2000 Favorites now so I know what I played?
Would be smarter to make the supporter-function to filter maps by "Played" accessible for everyone instead.
Secretpipe
Just do it!

But why list all of them when just select few (100-250) will do? The secondary computer is temporary. Consider a LAN event or a friend's house where you just want to download all of the maps you like, but not in a way which would require time searching them among other maps.

Why use a 3rd party tool to do a job something native can do just as well? You have to download the tool and transfer collections through a storage medium which can be outdated easily if you forget to copy the latest collections.db file. Favoriting can never be out of date, and enables you to just go to your profile and download the maps.

I guess the trade-off is:
Using your method might be faster, but may have potentialy lack maps anf requires to have the downloaded application.
Using favorites is slower, but it's always up to date and doesnt require a downloaded application.

Whichever you prefer

I'm going for favorites then
