stop playing normals play hards, then insanes, then extra, then learn hidden
Hidden is basicly nomod at higher levels just try to listen to the music and use hidden often you'll get used to it.
Listen to the music, rather than play by reaction. I can't read nomod because approach circles scare me

Disable followpoints for a while to make sure that you're reading Hidden by the circles appearing and not by followpoints.
While the latter can work you have naturally more time to read ahead if you look at the circles instead.
