osu! DPI dilemma:
high DPI: more speed, easy to get to corners/edges but hard to aim small circles
low DPI: easier to aim small circles but hard to reach corners/edges
switching between high and low DPI is a no no, it ruins the muscle memory

there is a possible solution, a slider in options called "Distance Reducing" to set a specific CS for example 5.2, if map CS >= 5.2 then no changes, if map CS is for example CS4 < 5.2 then:
>map CS increases to 5.2
>the distance of everything to the center of playfield will be reduced to fit CS 5.2, as a result reduces note spacing and slider length

ofc replays will always show original playfield and normal CS, since the point of this request is just to create a kinda "DPI increaser" without ruining muscle memory

Are you requesting a mod? The idea sounds nice though.

High Slider Velocity/Spacing & Low CS (Big circles) - Example
And
Low Slider Velocity/Spacing & High CS (Small circles) - Example

I know the two of them were in a different difficulty scale but it is just a relative scale, I guess.

What.
This doesn't make any sense.
Your dpi should orientate on being able to move comfortably within the playfield.
Aiming for circles of different sizes is considered a skill and making a map a certain CS is also a conscious design choice by the mapper.
If you really want to do this, just make some quick calculations and change your resolution accordingly to change the playfield manually.
I don't see a reason to encourage it by making it easily accessible and I also think it hinders overall progression as it is a lot higher to handle high CS on the big playfield when you're used to CS5 converted maps.

tl;dr: playfieldsize is more of a factor, especially on big conversions(CS2/7), effect is achieveable by manual adjustments and a feature would only increase accessibility not offer something new.

No
Unless I misunderstood, this completely breaks the reason mappers set a certain CS
Anyways, I think this is better, and it kinda sounds the same, so try going for that request instead!

Your DPI should be based on the screen size. How big motion you can do without moving your wrist. This gives u the best results. You should be able to hit CS10 even with High DPI.

Maybe try to get more than 3pp and then rethink the playstyle

a feature to drag the corner of osu! window to adjust resolution would do this

you can just change window size already to get the same effect, it's just a bit slow to do (changing size of play area while scaling the circlesize on your screen)

i'd just recommend you to get used to a lower sensitivity, then rise it a bit so fullscreen jumps will be ez to move arm in

you can do it with practice !
