Well, a 3ms lag clearly completely ruins the entire game so you have every reason to be mad...wait, i'm lying. 3ms lag shouldn't even be noticeable(aside from that little number in the bottom right corner).
In case you're on cuttingedge-build, switch back to stable as the current one has some issues.
This also belongs in Help.

Where did he say it's a 3ms lag?

Yes, that's what he said. Now where did he say it's the duration of the lag?

you have to be ahead of bad wording (^: :^) :^) (^:
It can mean that the lag makes the frametime go from "0.4ms to 2-3ms"
thus it lags from 0.4ms to 2-3ms

fuk it can even be achieved with a 10 minute lag since the frametime cannot update during the lag, it's probably less than quarter of a second in duration xd

<--- no such issue with 2gb

.4 ms, 2ms, and 3ms are all fine and dandy. Bouncing between .4ms and 3ms on the other hand usually involves a massive dropping of frames which is not playable. So yes, it can actually ruin the game.

i've noticed it on cutting edge recently, and switching back to stable (obviously) fixed it
