Hi, here from my modding queue.
[General]
The mapset is currently not rankable due to the spread between Normal and Hard. Hard uses many many ½ rhythms, and Normal does not, so the gap between the difficulty in the rhythms is too big. Either include another difficulty that is in between them or more realistically, rework the rhythm in the Normal to express more ½ rhythms. Feel free to ask me in game if you want help while you are doing this. (If you fix this, BN's still might find other unrankable aspects to the mapset, but this is one thing that I think is a big red flag)
[Easy]
00:04:884 (3) – Try moving this to ~388, 168 for less sharp low into (4). Move (1,2) down to compensate.
00:04:884 (3) – I don't like the way these overlap. Either overlap more like this or don't overlap these:
http://puu.sh/r6xmi/fea479a130.jpg01:25:026 (2,3) – Try giving these a little more space, would look less cramped (also, why is the DS between (3,4) 1.00? Shouldn't it be .90?):
http://puu.sh/r6xqL/808ec378fb.jpg01:51:598 (1,2) – Why does (2) have a different curvature than (1)? Why not make these a copy paste of each other?
01:56:741 (5,6) – I don't like the way these overlap. Give them more room:
http://puu.sh/r6xA4/939b19b7ca.jpg02:02:741 – Try putting a circle here. I think it's a good addition after all those long sliders and it goes with the beat well.
[Normal]
00:37:026 (3,5) – Moving (5) to ~391, 327 would make these objects more symmetrical:
http://puu.sh/r6xQ2/87dfb80cc7.jpg01:00:169 (4) – Try a rhythm more like this to fill in the rhythm:
http://puu.sh/r6xSS/a02e81cf68.jpg 01:41:312 (1,2) – It's frowned upon in Easy's and Normals to not have all the spacing be consistent, so try making these be .90x spacing.
01:41:312 (1,2,3) – This is more of a stylistic choice, but the traditional approach to this is to have the structure of these objects be a triangle like:
http://puu.sh/r6y4G/4a447c7b14.jpg01:57:598 (4,1) – There are a few objects like these that could be blanketed better, but I don't want to scour the map for them.
01:19:026 (3,4) – Be wary of this kind of flow. It's fine here, but this type of flow isn't smooth because (4) doesn't follow the general direction of the slider. Too much of this kind of flow can make maps feel forced, especially in higher difficulties, so use this type of flow as a technique to emphasize certain parts of the music instead of just throwing them in there because you need room.
[Hard]
00:43:026 (1,2,3,4) – Compare this to 00:46:454 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - . These two rhythms are two different perspectives of a similar rhythm, so they don't play in a consistent way which feels weird. Change one of them match the intentions of the other.
00:59:526 (4,1) – The DS between these is .80x due to
autostacking. You can go to the toolbar at the top and go to View → Stacking and make sure it is checked on. This will show what the objects look like in game. This affects every stack you made in the map, so recheck the map and fix whatever DS issues that arise due to autostack.
There are a lot of rhythm choices I would not have made, but I'm going to chalk this one up to us having different styles, so I'm not sure that my advice would be helpful.
[Insane]
00:48:169 (7) – Try this:
http://puu.sh/r6zl2/1c74397396.jpg00:53:526 (3,4,1,2) – Me personally, I'm not a fan of this
01:33:955 (3,4) - ^
01:53:312 (12) – NC?
Good luck!
