[Storyboard]
00:38:611 - So I was thinking you could do something kinda cute here: basically instead of it fading back in it just flashes up BUT the image is upside down cuz you know seija magics, so basically remove dim there and flip image here then at 00:40:070 - add a quick dim and then at 00:40:394 - it pulses and flips back. Maybe it could be a bit better tbh I don't know much about storyboarding but I thought it would fit her theme pretty well. Then maybe at a few other places like 01:34:880 - instead of flipping upside down you flip vertically during kiais and stuff or like at 04:51:582 - It can dim flash and flip horizontally and do it again at 04:52:555 - maybe even flip vertically here and then back to normal at 04:53:366 - lol but I'm pretty sure there could be some fun stuff here
i have actually considered this while creating the storyboard, but it may induce motion sickness and other stuff that will cause people to turn off the storyboard, so i think keeping it simple and straightforward is better for the overall playing experience[Extra Stage]
Consider adding a cool edgy diff name maybe uh....Vertigo or a spell card name or uh...idk Miracle Mallet cuz u know..2hu stuffs :V
well there is another diff coming so i want to make it feel like actual stages00:50:285 (9,10) - Would be really cool if this was also a 1/4 slider jump to compliment the 3 rising note buildup in the downbeat. Maybe something like
this would be cool
01:00:664 (1,2,3,1) - After the rhythm you have with 1 and 2 the triple feels a bit off putting to me. Deleting 3 makes it sound a bit nicer imo. No notes need to be repositioned afterward either.
in testplays i've not seen players struggle with this so i think its fine01:02:610 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4) - This isn't wrong but I'd like to suggest a pattern. I think one way you could emphasize the chugga chugga thing he's doing with the guitar here (lol I'll just call it that you know that thing he does with the power chords in sets of 3 and stuff) is switch around 01:02:772 (2,3) - and move 01:03:096 (1) - to stack over 01:02:610 (1) - and then (personally) change 01:03:583 (4) - to two notes with the first note where it is currently and the 2nd note stacked over 01:03:420 (3) - or even over 01:02:285 (4) - so it's a repeated motion and emphasizes the downbeat and then has a jump towards the first verse. You could still leave 4 as is and it works well though. Again just a suggestion but I think it's nice :3
01:56:285 (4,5,6) - 01:56:610 (7,8,9) - What I was thinking was to ctrl+g these two triples so that 4-6 goes up and 7-9 goes down. The reason I suggest this change is cuz I feel it would really compliment the quick up and down motion you had at 01:55:150 (1,2,3) - and also go well with 01:56:934 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - since these don't have to be changed for this to work. Tested this a few times and feels pretty normal imo but the way you have it is fine too.
02:00:745 (6) - Remove clap or add clap at 02:00:583 (4) - to keep it at a 1/2 pattern or full 1/4 pattern. Both would follow the drums more naturally.
02:15:501 - Feels ignored since the guitar does play here but probably don't NEED to add a note anyway unless you want to.
02:42:015 (9) - I think you could add a whistle here to follow the lead guitar more naturally. Maybe that's what the finish is for but I think adding a whistle here as well would keep the hitsounds (especially for custom hitsound players) more consistant. Same for 02:44:610 (10) - in case you do. Also you kinda do it in the next part like 02:50:934 (5) - 02:53:528 (6,7) - etc and sounds pretty good imo.
i think finish here gives more impact03:02:934 (3) - Whistle to follow lead guitar
03:03:745 (4,5,6) - Similar to what I mentioned before I think ctrl g here works well especially since you already have the alternating pattern in the next few triples and of course if the change above was done this would follow that theme well.
i want to follow a different type of flow here to differentiate from the first kiai03:04:555 (3) - Maybe whistle here too but idk cuz it's using soft samples so idk. I'd say if you were using whistles in general to compliment the guitar it could still work well but I guess I won't suggest any more whistle hitsounds in case you had something else in mind but otherwise look out for them.
as above03:27:258 (3) - Eh. Shape could be better :v
04:15:096 (7) - 04:15:583 (12) - 04:16:393 (7) - 04:16:880 (12) - 04:17:691 (7) - 04:18:177 (12) - 04:06:015 (7) - 04:15:096 (7) - 04:15:583 (12) - 04:15:258 (8,7) - 04:16:880 (12) - 04:17:691 (7) - 04:18:177 (12) - I think NCs here would compliment the finishes and flow changes in a way. Would also shorten the combo which looks a bit cleaner on some skins
There are a few more later on not mentioned in case you do decide to change this.
i intentionally did not NC on these to not put too much emphasis on the slow downs, and from what i see people tend to not notice during gameplayReally fun map! Had to go over the song and play it quite a few times and in reality there's nothing wrong with it the mod is mostly suggestions. Anyway hope to see this ranked soon!
