This is scum that thinks they got caught for the wrong reason and is trying to flail their way out of it.Tess wrote:
Because it's lying to say something you're not thinking for the sake of consistency. And I was continuously being pressured into proving I'm not scum, thanks to having started with a pretty bad move that's what led to all of this. It doesn't matter if I'm honest or not at this point, you guys think I'm scum, period. And I can't do any reads because anything I say about anyone will be "me trying to squeeze myself out of scum"
So, basically, I fucked up, and now I can't contribute to the game anymore. So it'd be better to take the lynch, even though town won't get much information out of it. They'll probably just go "Oh well she was just playing bad I guess" and ignore any of my reads. Maybe you'd become suspicious, SNB, but I can't really see how else things will go at the moment.
I constantly had to correct false interpretations and/or reword/explain my statements, which goes to show that I just didn't make them correctly. Scum (which I assume is you) saw that as a perfect opportunity to jump on, and the constant questioning leading in various directions, and multiple questions about the same thing under various contexts, led to me making "contradictory" posts.
The only way I'd be taken seriously again is if any one of my main reads (namely you or farto) has a big enough scumslip to convince the rest of town that my reads weren't that off. But I don't see that happening anytime soon, so, I realize I fucked up and if I get lynched over that then so be it. I'm still thoroughly convinced that at least two of the people pushing me are scum, and you're one of them.
My role doesn't have any colourTess wrote:
The color was in the same sentence and I was tired. Is it really that big of a deal? In my last game I was Sora, which was written in blue (I can't use that here because it's the same color mod uses), and I wrote it in color for the same reasons.

I can kind of understand why it looks forced but as I said I didn't even think it would matter. If you read the damn thread I'll be asking Drezi whether he wants "pokemon and ability" or either of the two. He says pokemon doesn't matter so I just added it there, and with a color because of how I remembered the sentence. Now out of all things I said you're using a single word out of one post to suspect me.fartownik wrote:
I want to see what she has to say about this.
You are Sora from the orange team(It was actually blue team last game, but I didn't use that since it's against the rules)
If you don't want to unvote me that's fine. I don't think lynching me would benefit town at all right now, but I don't know how to convince anyone of that either at this point. Whenever I comply with what someone asks, someone points out something I didn't think was fucking important at the time of writing it, so whatever. I'll just keep playing and see what happens.Frostings wrote:
I was actually starting to think about unvoting Tess, but this is a good point that I would have missed.
Tess' role is provable, though it's not alignment-indicative, so not sure what we could do. For now, it remains, and I'm gonna read the posts more carefully later
Read above, it's referring to the last game, which was the first game I played, which was still fresh in my mind. In that game it didn't fucking matter if you showed a color or not because it said nothing about your alignment. That's why I didn't care. This was a roleclaim and I just added the pokemon there because why notAce Timing wrote:

lol, well just go ahead and lynch Tess then
Nice try, but it got ruined by Navizel Funny that Tess didn't react to that at all.Drezi wrote:
Kill: Tess
May I know what exactly do you mean by this?Amianki wrote:
This combined with the associative tell he dropped with Jess on the last page makes me sliiiiiightly more okay with a Jess lynch.fartownik wrote:
Also I just noticed Ace Timing has no scumreads (besides null-scum Tess) after reading the whole thread at once. Weird.

You're right. I just honestly answered Zexion's question, though. Never planned on indirectly saying that I'm not scum, I just used a sentence that seemed natural to me.
So yeah, prodding rEdo BEFORE the deadline without anyone even asking must have been of utmost importance, when you see it influences gameplay.Navizel wrote:

I understand it had to be examined, I was more surprised by that, of all things, being Irre's reason to suspect me. There are far better reasons to suspect me than a color.fartownik wrote:
@Tess: eh, that color thing HAD TO be examined. If you don't want to be treated like this, think before doing stuff like that, simple. It looked quite suspicious from every angle you take as Town and leaving it unanswered was just unsatisfying.
One simply can't find logic in Irre's thoughts.Tess wrote:

So what's with this reply. Wasn't this a reaction to the kill?Tess wrote:
Ha, alright. Goes to show that once people become suspicious of someone they'll find every excuse to fuel their suspicions rather than examining things closely and paying attention to what matters.
A friendly reminder that this whole thing was born from nothing but me not saying much, and was fueled by suspicions based as much on hunches as mine were.
Also this might be far-fetched but could this mean a TessJess team, considering our latest Jesshunting attempts?-[Jess]- wrote:

I will use doublevote if half of everyone say yes
It was. It's basically me saying "I know I played bad but you took it too far."Drezi wrote:

This was actually a misunderstanding on my part regarding the posts you were directing at Jess. At first I was like "wtf", but then I realized that that's a pretty good move to figure out her alignment, so I decided to not mention it anymore so as to not get in the way of what you were doing. I've already made enough fuckups this game, don't want to get in the way of something good.Drezi wrote:
Also what about the "Am I the only one seeing this".
I'm not sure what you mean by this.Drezi wrote:
As for the green color, I didn't even want to mention it, because apparently Tess (and possibly Ace) harping on our fears of confbiasing here works to some extent and I wanted to see if others would think the same of it.
Could you explain this, please? I forgot about it but I still don't get why you said this. It was right after a post of my own.Drezi wrote:

But I just don't get it. That's what I thought but it doesn't make sense to say, coming after Navi's post, like at all.Tess wrote:

I think you're scum.Tess wrote:
I actually originally thought Navizel had posted the prod without checking your post first, and was expecting him to post my death anytime soon. I wanted to say what I could before that happened.
It doesn't matter Navi's post said "POSTED HALF AN HOUR AGO".Tess wrote:
I have no way to prove that I posted right after I read the post

Depending on the answer, you're town, or scum.
You can.Tess wrote:
@Mod: Can a prod be requested in PM to the mod as well?

Also I agree that Navizel could've waited a bit.
I think you're just mad that you didn't realize it was a fakekill before Navi's post and missed the chance to act town.Tess wrote:

The only thing that would've happened if I posted before Navizel's prod would be that people would've known my alignment.
