pp system was initially designed to measure a player's skills (or at least make a good approximation)
or are you suggesting we use the ranked score system instead

Yeah no, it makes the game fun and gives players a reason to continue playing. They put so much work into this system it's never going to go away. This post is useless and in the wrong subforum.
Have fun playing and you won't need to check your pp. I doubt they'll be removed by now.
