The timing point needs to start where the first beat is, not just at the start of the song. Offset at 00:03:215
Cut the audio file or something because it's not like there's anything after 01:35:834 anyways
You shouldn't put all of the map just solely in the center region of the mapping area, it's okay to have things around the edges too, it allows more patterns to be done
Soft hitsounds (like clap) aren't very distinguishable from regular soft hits just saying

00:32:786 (2,3,4) - I mean if you want to keep the pattern it's fine like below works too. Besides, the lyrics only start to do the two notes followed by a single note after that line so

  2. 00:19:948 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - Would be nice if you could keep your spacing consistent, because nothing really suggests a reduced spacing from the square into the triangle.
  3. 00:25:091 (6) - NC. Start of new measure.
  4. 00:26:805 (1,2,3,4,5) - Well, since you used some perfectly constructed polygons earlier, how about making this a perfect star too? Would look a bit cleaner too.
  5. 00:30:983 - Since you're following the vocals with that double earlier, shouldn't the circle be here? This is when the vocal stars. This applies to the entire section coming after here. Your notes are 1/4 too late if you're following the vocals for the double right before them its kind of strange to have a 3/4 gap and then switch to following the drum
  6. 00:45:448 (5) - How about shortening this slider? Weird to see such a long slider in an Insane when there are other sounds you can map to... maybe map toe "woohoo" in the back? Jump potential there.
  7. 00:48:876 (4,5) - ^Yea, make your rhythm choice a bit more consistent. This one is good.
  8. 01:05:805 (7,8,9) - Emphasis here could be improved. You should emphasize the drumbeat on 9 since you mapped this jump sequence to the drums. 7>8 should be a smaller jump and 8>9 should be larger.
[Knotts' Hard]

  1. 00:09:019 (4,5) - Err, you sure about this? Doesn't really follow the drums too well. 00:09:233 - Is the strongest beat, but its not mapped to anything. The 2nd repeat slider begins on a blue tick :S.
  2. 00:46:305 (1,2) - Make them parallel? Looks nicer lol
  3. 01:03:876 (4,5,6,7) - Ctrl+G this rhythm? The triplet makes more sense beginning at 01:03:876 - . Most triplets begin on red-ticks anyways.
  4. 01:11:376 (1,3) - Why not make them symmetrical.
  5. 01:15:662 (3,4) - How about stacking these two instead, since they map the same note vocally. Pitch goes up on 5, not 4.
[Normal]

  1. 00:03:662 (2,3,4) - Seems kind of odd to begin your Normal with such note density. How about making two of the circles into a 1/2 slider instead? This is the intro after all.
  2. 00:04:947 (1) - Remove NC since you're NC"ing every 2 measures for this intro section.
  3. 00:35:162 (6,1,2,3,4) - Too many circles in a row for a Normal imo ;P can you make some of them 1/2 sliders to reduce density?
  4. 00:51:233 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - ^ Theyre not jumps, but you're still creating note density here for players :P.
  5. 01:08:590 (3,4,5,6) - This is the largest number of circles you have in a row, In the Kiai section. It would be nice if you could reduce some of your other single-tap patterns that are non-Kiai so there is a bit less density. Right now your Normal is almost all 1/2 rhythm which is a concern.
  6. 01:28:512 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3) - This is even denser and more difficult than Knotts' Hard. You really need to simplify your rhythm here.
[Easy]

  1. 00:14:601 (1,1) - You can't do this on Easy. You need a full measure of break in between a Spinner and the next object on lower difficulties. That means, if you end your spinner on 00:16:100 - You can't have any objects until 00:17:815 - . In other words, you'll need to remove the spinner and map a slider here instead. Otherwise it violates ranking criteria unfortunately.
  2. 00:28:529 (1,1) - ^
  3. 00:38:386 (3,2,5) - Might want to use 1/1 sliders instead of 1/2 repeats. I've seen other Easy maps getting dq'ed because 1/2 sliders on Easy are considered questionable. Making these sliders (at least some of them) 1/1 wouldn't hurt anyways.
  4. 00:59:386 (1) - Slider too.
  5. 01:12:886 (1) - ^
  6. 01:19:100 (2,3) - Don't switch to red ticks here ;c.
  7. 01:26:600 (1) -
  8. 01:28:541 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - This is also too dense for an Easy. Make this even simpler please, you're using 1/2 rhythm here with a bpm of 104, vs the 1/1 rhythm on the rest of your map with 140 bpm. In terms of 1/2 rhythm density, thats 104 bpm vs 70 bpm...This section is actually even more difficult than your Kiai section lol.
Main problems i'm seeing is that Normal is almost completely 1/2 rhythm, but Easy is exclusively 1/1 rhythm. You need to bridge this rhythm gap a bit. Easy is good, aside from the Spinners, but you could nerf Normal a bit, introduce more 1/1 rhythm, and simplify single-tapping rhythm like extended circle usage... Anything over 3 circles in a row that are spaced 1/2 apart is too dense on a Normal imo.

ALL SPINNERS ARE REPLACED WITH SLIDERS
  1. 00:14:601 (1,1) - You can't do this on Easy. You need a full measure of break in between a Spinner and the next object on lower difficulties. That means, if you end your spinner on 00:16:100 - You can't have any objects until 00:17:815 - . In other words, you'll need to remove the spinner and map a slider here instead. Otherwise it violates ranking criteria unfortunately.
  2. 00:28:529 (1,1) - ^
  3. 00:38:386 (3,2,5) - Might want to use 1/1 sliders instead of 1/2 repeats. I've seen other Easy maps getting dq'ed because 1/2 sliders on Easy are considered questionable. Making these sliders (at least some of them) 1/1 wouldn't hurt anyways.
  4. 00:59:386 (1) - Slider too.

Main problems i'm seeing is that Normal is almost completely 1/2 rhythm, but Easy is exclusively 1/1 rhythm. You need to bridge this rhythm gap a bit. Easy is good, aside from the Spinners, but you could nerf Normal a bit, introduce more 1/1 rhythm, and simplify single-tapping rhythm like extended circle usage... Anything over 3 circles in a row that are spaced 1/2 apart is too dense on a Normal imo.

  3. Tags: Add tags which is related to the music, add "Knotts" also since he is the mapper of the guest diff
  4. AIMOD issues: (Captured from Easy diff)
  5. Unused hitsound: soft-sliderslide2.wav, please remove it
  6. Over usage of spinners in Normal diff: Generally 6 spinners in a tv size/short music map is too much, and it came out many unrankable issues about recovery time after spinners, may consider remove some
  7. Unused timing points: Most of the green lines in the last part of music is not used, better to remove it
  8. Unsnapped object in Easy diff:
  9. Unnecessary inherited point: The inherited point is not needed in 01:27:965, the rhythm in the music actualy is 1/3 starting from 01:28:541 till the end, for example you can try to listen the last part of music 01:33:734, the spinner ends with a delay with the current bpm. you can map it using different beat snap rather than adding new points when multi-bpm is not necessary. Move the spinner to the correct timing and don't forget to fix the last timing points as well

  1. 00:13:100 - Vocal here is quite strong in my opinion, so I would suggest to place either slider head or note instead of slider end to emphasis this beat

  2. 00:41:386 (5) - A 1/1 slider will be enough in an Easy diff as it requires more simplified rhythm, however in my opinion it is acceptable to use in chorus which is the kiai part, generally kiai parts need a denser rhythm so it is suitable to use a reversed 1/2 slider, so it is fine to keep sliders like 01:01:957 (2) or 01:15:672 (2) and some more

  3. 00:55:957 (5) - Same as above

  4. 01:04:529 (1,3) - nazi, but they are stacked which looks untidy in the map

  6. 01:28:529 - As i mentioned the inherited point is not needed in 01:27:965, this part should be in 1/3 instead, but it is an Easy diff, I would suggest to follow white ticks here to map instead of 1/3 which is difficult for beginners either predict the rhythm or hit correctly, you can try two sliders start at 01:28:529 and 01:30:243 as follow

  4. 00:30:662 (2,3,4,5) - I dont suggest you to make two double patterns here since it is the only place you did, try to follow other parts like 00:31:948 (1,2,3) or 00:37:091 (1,2,3,4) or else in order to keep a constant pattern in this diff

  5. 00:32:162 (2) - Try a curve slider instead, it looks weird to have red anchor when the slider is short

  6. 00:40:519 (1,2) - 00:41:269 (4,5) - It is not good to have a sharp turn of jump which point in the opposite direction when the music isn't that strong, the spacing here is quite large when it compared to other patterns, try to decrease it a bit

  1. Uncheck widescreen support for Easy and Normal.
  2. Uncheck letterbox during breaks in Easy, Normal and Insane.
  3. Look at the AIMod in Easy:

  4. Uninherited timing points (BPM changing lines;red lines) are in conflict with other difficulties for easy. Set the second red line/uninherited timing point's offset to 87963.
  5. I cannot really help you with snapping 01:27:672 (7)...
  6. Add in tags for the difficulties you haven't, they must be constant on all difficulties.
  7. Set the audio preview time the same like Normal, Hard and Insane. This MUST be the same throughout all difficulties. To solve this, go to File>Open .osu in Notepad>find for PreviewTime>Change the value to 61090.
  8. There is colours ONLY FOR EASY. Colours should be constant throughout, so add in the same colours like Easy.

Easy
  1. 00:32:386 (1) - Remove NC
  2. 00:34:100 (3) - Then add NC. These are for consistency

  4. 00:12:233 (1,2,3) - The beats are in the perfect spot, but why not use a slider instead? Slider is much more appropriate to express this beat.
  5. 00:23:376 (1,2,3,4,5) - About flow, I was meaning something like this. It is bad to place 4 circles in a row, and in circle especially. Use two 1/2 sliders.
  6. 00:28:090 (5) - This should be rotated -28 degrees clockwise, using selection centre. This will match the previous notes' flow.
  7. To generalize normal, you are using too much of 1/2 sliders. Consider using at least a few more 1/1 sliders, like what you did in easy.
  8. 00:46:090 (6) - Add NC for consistency.

01:25:100 (3,4) - These are definitely almost touching each other. The distance snapping is fine but I'd make it a bit spaced from each other.
01:27:672 (7,1) - ^ same as above but in this case, I suggest to remove the timing point as well.
01:28:541 (1,2,3) - for these last sliders, I would make a long hybrid or a fun shape. It is easy after all ^^

Another thing I saw in this difficulty were NC problems, but I'm pretty sure that the modder above me has already got to it so I don't want to be repetitive. :P

  1. No apparent issue overall. Still... if this is the opening of a game, there should be some video somewhere, or not? If there's some video, I'd suggest adding it merely because it would be cool (it's okay if you don't want to, though).

[Easy]

  1. Well, this diff should be acceptable, but it's a bit monotonous. I'll try to make a mod to help you in giving the diff a bit more of variation, since it's quite boring as it is (considering almost everything is 1/1 rhythm). You don't have to change things if you don't agree. :P
  2. 00:07:090 (2,3) - This rhythm is okay, but it's pretty hard to tell what you're mapping (vocal or beats), making it sightly difficult for beginners. I think a rhythm like this is more attached to the beats and it's a bit easier to play and understand.
  3. 00:12:233 (1,2,3) - I'm not really sure this'll work, considering the strong, loud beat is on 00:12:555 - and you're actually making players click on 00:12:662 (2) - which is not as loud. Players might get confused and click that (2) earlier than what they should. Consider turning 00:12:233 (1) - into a 1/1 slider, delete 00:12:662 (2) - and add a 2/1 slider on 00:13:090 - to avoid confusion and to follow vocals. Also, consider marking whatever you put on 00:13:090 - with a New Combo (NC) to keep the consistency on NC markers. Your timeline should look like this if you apply what I've said (I added 00:10:948 (3) - on the screenshot for reference!).
  4. 00:14:590 - Raise the volume of the green timing section here. I feel like I'm hitting ghost notes since 30% volume is too low for this song... .-.

  2. I tried to mod this to the best of my skill, but while doing so I found myself thinking how to deal with lots and lots of 1/2 beats. Certainly, a Normal can be used to teach players how to play notes 1/2 a beat apart, but when that turns to simple 1/2 spamming starting from 00:30:233 - it becomes so bothersome to deal with it. You might think: Yeah, there are some pauses, like the one between 00:37:090 (5,1) - , but a pause like that isn't really enough imo, especially after such a long pattern like 00:32:805 (2,3,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5) - .

    What I try to say is: You need to reduce the note density of this diff (in other words, make less 1/2 note patterns). You can use some, but you can't abuse of it, since that creates a big difficulty gap between your Easy (that barely has any 1/2 usage at all) and this diff, making it unrankeable. Patterns are too hard to read for an average Normal-diff player atm since the note density is really big. Since reducing note density is quite hard as your diff is right now, I suggest you to remap and think again how to map the song without abusing of the 1/2 patterns.

    I also mention it because, as you most likely noticed already, most of your map is practically put "crumpled together", with lots of overlapping patterns; heavely restricting the freedom of you as mapper to create sweet patterns, and the freedom of players to move around and enjoy the map. So, I don't mention this merely because of the heavy note density, but also due to the lack of aesthetics that attract players and helps them to enjoy the map. So, I ask of you to deeply consider this, please.

[Knotts' Hard]

  1. This diff is actually mapped pretty nicely. o.o I think the only "nitpicks" for me are the overlappings you use, like 00:33:876 (2,3,4,5) - (just to place an example). Since you seem to like the overlaps (considering you use more than two or three times) I won't say nothing about them. ;)

[Insane]

  1. Well... this one is quite different. In here, I've actually noticed the note density is relatively low if you compare it to Hard, making it actually a bit easier. In here, you actually need to make diff a bit harder. It's technically alright if you leave it as it is, but players will really complain if they face an easier Insane than what the Hard is (no, Star Rating doesn't really count here, but actual difficulty while playing does). You might try and use some of the same rhythms Knotts uses on his diff as well to increase the density a bit. An example: 00:05:376 (7) - instead of adding a reverse to this slider, you can actually create a double, since there's a note on 00:05:697 - . You could do something like this, but you can arrange notes in whatever way you want.
  2. Another little example: 00:11:162 (5) - You could make this a 1/1 beat slider and move it to 00:11:376 - . After that, you can place circles on 00:11:162 - and 00:11:269 - to make a triple. Here's how it'd look like in the timeline.
  3. 00:14:591 (7) - I actually wonder why this doesn't has a hitsound, it it's a strong beat. You might wanna add a whistle or a finish.
  4. 00:28:412 - Add a circle here. There's a clearly audiable beat.
  5. 00:30:876 - If you want to, you could actually add a circle here to make a stream.
  6. 01:12:876 (1) - Hey, hey. Are you sure you need a spinner here? You're missing your chance to make a stream starting on 01:13:947 - . I suggest you to remove the spinner and actually map the beats on that part.
  7. 01:30:233 (1,2,3) - I suggest to change this part to make it a bit easier to predict and to play. As it is right now, it's a bit too confusing, even for an Insane. Just remove a reverse from every slider, move 'em 1/3 beat back and add another 1/3 slider with two reverses on 01:31:519 - . In the end, your timeline should look like this.
  8. Yeah, I actually liked the diff. It could be a bit more challenging, though. It felt too easy to play for an Insane.

Overall, all of your diffs are rhythmically good. They just have some little issue, that variates from diff to diff.
If anything, I'm only concerned about the high note density on Normal, and I really hope you consider what I've said.

  3. 00:12:233 (1,2,3) - I'm not really sure this'll work, considering the strong, loud beat is on 00:12:555 - and you're actually making players click on 00:12:662 (2) - which is not as loud. Players might get confused and click that (2) earlier than what they should. Consider turning 00:12:233 (1) - into a 1/1 slider, delete 00:12:662 (2) - and add a 2/1 slider on 00:13:090 - to avoid confusion and to follow vocals. Also, consider marking whatever you put on 00:13:090 - with a New Combo (NC) to keep the consistency on NC markers. Your timeline should look like this if you apply what I've said (I added 00:10:948 (3) - on the screenshot for reference!).

Alright it turns out that it will be difficult for me to add a video in. I downloaded the footage of the video, tried to remove the audio and crop the video to match the music but there's an unknown error (Sony Vegas.)   1. 00:02:805 (1,2) - I personally thinks that end-to-end overlap seems like crashing-together sliders. imo Separating them improves the note placement design more + a great way to practice small jumps for intermediate ones. Same goes to 00:08:590 (3,6) - , 00:25:090 (1,2) - , 00:33:876 (2,5) - , 00:37:947 (4,5) - and 01:14:805 (1,2)
  2. 00:18:983 (3,4) - 00:18:983 (3) should be removed as there is no rhythm in music for double finger tapping, causing it not natural to do so + music part is similar to 00:25:090 (1,2,3,4) + it is the only dft for no-vocal part so ya. If applied, stack 00:19:090 (4) with 00:19:305 (5)
