Hello. So I've been thinking of doing something like this to help some beginners... This is a compilation/summary of questions/problems that beginners may face and solutions and help. Hope this can be of some aid to beginners o/
Personal Comments:
-Please visit the skinning tutorial thread to learn the basics of skinning if you are a beginner~ feel free to ask any questions regarding skinning there ^^
-Make sure you read the rules of the forum before posting here
-If you do not know what elements that can be skinned/how to name, you can download the default skin and create the skin element accordingly
-After finishing a skin, you can submit it to the completed skins queue to be inspected and perhaps be able to have your skin showcased on the skin compendium for easier reference for people who are looking for a certain theme of skins
-Photoshop is highly recommended for skinning, but beginner-wise, gimp is great ^^
-How to upload screenshots: use up.ppy.sh or puush.me to upload screenshots and obtain link, then post the link as such:

-Do NOT post mixed skins (elements from various skins to create another skin), Mixed skins will be moved to the wasteland after 24 hours if no attempt of solving the problem by the poster is made
-If it is a personal mixed skin and you wish to share it, do not post it here but instead, on your userpage or signature.
-Remember to credit borrowed elements - ask the creator of the original elements for permission before proceeding to post a certain skin
-Don’t request for a certain skin by starting a new thread, you can request by PM’ing a skinner or finding a skinning request thread.
-Don’t ask for/about a skin which has been showcased/uploaded elsewhere - ask the original uploader for the skin and only when you can’t, then ask here
