[resolved] Converting file to .osk (skinning)

Just asking is there any alternative ways to convert files into .osk? Is it just me or everytime when i tried renaming it from .zip to .osk it just doesnt work. (I'm using a mac btw)

What if you've downloaded from the web and it's not in .osk format? if you put it in straight into skins folder will it still work?

If it's in .zip or .rar format then you'll have to extract it into your skins folder.

You are renaming the actual file extension from .zip to .osk, right?

And what Fleuret said.

If the skin is named "potato" then the skin files would have to be placed in osu!\skins\potato.

Please dont respond to old threads. Select the skin you want in osu! and then click "export as .osk" button in the osu! settings under the Skins section.

Yeah but on phones it can't beacuse the file explorer won't allow you to share so much that has one file
