Some of you might be having Deja Vu seeing this. Thats because I started a collab for this nearly a year ago (1 day away from a year ago in-fact. Nice little coincidence). I didn't regulate the quality and difficulty of the maps I had much, so the final product was a bit hit-and-miss, and I gave up on it.

Now I'm trying again, but this time I'm being more strict with the maps I'll accept. Im not going to be too strict, but Im not going to let any old map into this.

I'll stick to 1 part per mapper for now, just in case there is a lot of interest to join this. If I'm struggling to find mappers to fill the slots, I'll let people map a second part.

As for difficulty, make sure that you part is no harder than Kingcobra52's Kumikyoku marathon. If you want to map easier, go ahead, but nothing harder than that please.

I was a bit disappointed when I saw that the last Nanairo collab failed, and since I love this song so much...

/join *thinking about which part to pick*

PS: I really think that the second break (4:18 - 4:34) should be gotten rid of. There's already three others, there was a break only 30 seconds beforehand, and it's such a pretty part that I'd like to see mapped (and was thinking about claiming...)

EDIT: Some suggestions:

20 second breaks are a bit long, so why not only have the first half of Windows as a break, then do second half of Windows, SPPP, Sora (3:38 - 4:12 [34 seconds]) and then Celluloid/Shoushitsu (4:12 - 4:55 [43 seconds])? If you decide to change this in any way, I'd like to claim the two Miku songs. xp

Also, I think that Hakata no Shio should be attached to the end of Ponyo (which is how it's supposed to be, since Hakata no Shio takes over the last line of the real Ponyo song).

If you're using the same mp3 as the first Nanairo collab (same as the video), then either cut out all the silence at the beginning or use a better mp3. There's plently of better quality karaoke ver. mp3s out there for this song. :v

I can't time this part though for the life of me. I don't even think its a constant BPM. If you can get a good timing there for me, i'll happily remove that break. :o

I had some timing trouble with some parts here, but I'm pretty sure I've fixed them, so done. I'll add you for the Celluloid/Shoushitsu part then

Perhaps. All I can hear though is smooooch, not to mention that the music sounds like it breaks off here. I don't know Hakata no Shio though, but I think it sounds better this way. hmm.

I'll cut that silence at the beginning off though. the mp3 I have should be fine (its better quality than the video, don't worry :P)

@Doomy: Don't worry, I'll be nazi-ing all of the timings anyway once the parts are mapped to test with. ;P

The "hakata no shio" part is exactly as the title is. The lyrics are exactly "ha-ka-ta no SHI-O" after ponyo and before smooooooooch. :3

PS: Perhaps you should just remove the source from the map XD. Having "Nico Nico Douga" in the artist, title, AND source is just a bit much.

Hope you like it and it is not too hard.

There is a 0,25x slider in it because it fitted so well.

Sorry, gonna drop my part :( I kind of overbooked myself in terms of mapping commitments, and I'm already not on osu! as much as I used to. I don't want to hold up the project so I'll let someone more active take it.

Also, "Nanairo no Nico Nico Douga" means "7 colors of Nico Nico Douga". Since I'm using the background from the old collab (created by StarrodKirby86) which is red, I could use a 7 colored background to go with it. I'm happy with sticking with the old Background, but I wouldn't mind if someone with with some background-making skill could make one for me. If you do, make sure its in the same style as the old background in this.
You can always make the seven colors using some nice Hue/Saturation changes. o: In fact, I guess I can do it for ya. xD

Alright. Im still sticking with 1 part per mapper for now though, but I'll keep this in mind if I do have 2 per mapper.

Sexy storyboard~

I should have my part done tomorrow, but I noticed a couple things with the SB/part listings:

My part (Celluloid) starts at 03:55:715, not 4:00.
03:31:509 - why is there an extra flash here?
04:16:694 - ^

EDIT: Also, why is indigo before blue at the darkened Windows/Sora/Miku parts?

Hmm... a suggestion would be to change colors at DiamondCrash's part and my part, so then the full rainbow would be used twice once the cycling starts again at Lyby's part. It's nice how it currently is, but I just thought it was strange that the rainbow stopped at blue and then started over..

All you would need to do is add the couple of extra colors and then switch around a few .osb lines (unless you're doing the SBing in the editor, which seems to be the case based on the non-rounded numbers orz). I could edit the .osb for ya if you'd like. o-o;

Also, if you do want to add the two extra transitions, then the Windows break would be darkened blue, Sora/etc would be indigo, and then Miku would be purple. (Just some comments here that would get rid of the green->indigo->blue :p) Then, when the song speeds up again (Beuchi's part), the rainbow would be red again.

Yeah. I never thought about scripting this storyboard. I've never actually seriously tried storyboarding by scripting. Guess I might as well give it a shot.

EDIT: There we go. Fixed.
