great map! gratz on ranked xdd
I believe that the break is an excellent idea. Even though the song does pick up the pace, the song also decides to drop it all on that last piano note. I think the break is very appropriate in this case and that mapping the section would instead feel forced.Garven wrote:

This isn't a problem if you're not actually shit at the game.

just because there are clear moments during the stream where they could be placed, does not mean streamjumps are a good idea. they make maps not fun to play and are not necessary.
And that matters why?Rikka- wrote:
Edit: I'd like to take a moment to appreciate that a rank #36,000 disqualified a 6.86* map.
A #36,000, which is extremely experienced with mapping, has has several ranked maps and has been involved in the modding community for more years than you've even heard about this game. So treat him with the respect he deserves, and not treat him badly because he doesn't have the playing skills for the beatmap. He knows about mapping and what makes a bad map much more than you will ever do.Rikka- wrote:

DQs by the QAT are not a one-man decision; he didn't, by himself, say "okay, I'm going to DQ this because I can't play it." Rank is irrelevant; he has the experience with mapping to make the calls (even more so with input and discussion of other QATs) on whether a map does or does not flow properly.Rikka- wrote:

Additionally, by your logic, if you can't play it, you shouldn't create it either; I mean, if you can't play it, how can you judge your own map? I guess we may as well revoke Time Freeze, Big Black, Image Material, Freedom Dive and any other well-known high difficulty map while we're at it since their creators can't FC them.Rikka- wrote:
DQing a map for playability reasons despite not actually having the skill to see if its playable or not.

I'd rather not see this map change than see it ranked. I see no problem with the stream jumps or the star pattern near the end. If you do still want to re-rank then I guess here is your reminderhandsome wrote:
i'll think about rereanking this actually
