00:48:989 (2,4) - Maybe make 4 lower SV too? Music is really soft, and I can barely hear the slight variation in gameplay. This feels more visual imo so making 4 mirror 2 would be nice.
01:24:990 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - You have a nice circular flow build up here from 2 up to 8 but 01:26:095 (8,1) - The transition is really weak since it breaks this circular and the increasing distance snap you set up with the previous pattern.
01:26:253 (1) - 67||106 maybe? And then blanket 7? I think this general area would be better since it continues the flow, and increases distance even a bit more, which works for emphasis.
01:31:463 - There's a note here... I think a 5-stack/stream would work better at 01:31:305 (1,2) - .
02:07:206 (1,10) - Fix stack.
02:12:030 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - I think the second stream should have larger spacing than the first... It makes more sense imo since your later sections have a bunch of spaced 5's and kick sliders.
02:27:707 (3,5) - Ctrl+G? Makes the pattern play a bit more symmetrically, but up to you though.. If you think the jump from 2>3 fits the melody.
02:51:526 (3,3) - Somehow stacks aren't right...
02:52:882 (2,4) - I don't think it would hurt the patterns that follow if you made these two symmetrical.

05:50:012 (1) - With sliders like this, it would play -really- nicely if you timed the directional change with a beat in the melody. For example. There is a note at 05:50:314 - So i have the ball lined up right at the peak between the two sliders. I think you could try applying this to your other sliders (if there is a beat that fits). and if you like this idea. It plays really well and gives a nice element of rhythm to a slider imo~

Hi, you tried to solve my puzzle and your attempt wasn't bad, so you will get a mod.

You might want to use custom hitsounds, I simply don't think that the drumsounds work well with this song.

|00:36:989 (4,5,6,7) - I wouldn't start this here, but at 00:39:516 - , which you did, so I'd suggest that you simply delete those marked circles.
|02:34:340 (1,2,3,4,5) - whistles are inconsistent and I don't find any reason for that. Applies to a bit more than this pattern.

04:11:074 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,1) - Impressive.

|04:23:134 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Inconsistent claps.
|05:23:480 - Could be just me, but I think this part deserves more calm sliders instead of the current ones which have, in my opinion, too much speed. Because the music becomes slightly more intense at 05:33:128 - , you could start using the intended SV here. You would kinda pick the music up like this. Emphathise the added instruments.

The last Kiai is beautiful, I'd almost say that it's a bit too harsh, but I guess you can use the patterns the way you did. Just had a bit of trouble reading the last streamy star.

Our intention is to give a new perspective on the best maps of 2017 through the eyes of the mapping community!

We have expanded our coverage to all four game modes this year, and have also streamlined the voting and nomination process so it isn't as tedious as before. We hope as many participants as possible take part in this event! And without further ado, here's Mapper's Choice Awards 2017
  1. Nomination will take place from April 20 20:00UTC to April 30 12:00UTC
  2. To be eligible for nomination, you must have 1 ranked map or guest difficulty in 2017, or 100 kudosu, with the 100th kudosu being awarded by 2017.
  3. All nominations are to be done through private message to handsome. No changes are allowed once the message has been read and validated. Amendments may be required if your vote is deemed invalid.
  4. Only maps ranked in 2017 are eligible for nomination. No loved maps are allowed.
  5. You are allowed to nominate up to 3 candidates for each category.
  6. You are allowed to nominate yourself and/or your own maps, however clear abuse of nominations will be nullified.
  7. You are allowed to nominate for multiple modes if you are eligible to do so.
  8. You are allowed to nominate the same candidate for different categories under 'Maps' and 'Users'.
  9. You are not allowed to nominate the same candidate for different categories under 'Genre-specific Maps'. This is because each map has already been categorized accordingly with no overlaps.
  10. The maps that advance through the nomination period depend on the participation level, therefore we cannot ensure that all nominated maps will be eligible for voting.
  1. Voting will take place from May 4 12:00UTC to May 14 12:00UTC

Hello from my modding queue~

[General]

Wow, really hard map. I didn't want to mod something i couldn't pass so i had to take a time consuming approach of warming on a crap-load of unranked xi, t+pazolite and dragonforce stream stuff but than even than i had to individually go into the editor and make practice difficulty's for specific patterns and i made difficulty's to skip to like 50% into the map and i worked my way through the entire thing. I passed every pattern just not in 1 attempt... thats for sure.

I have to say there are A LOT of things i like about this map, overall really good job. I love challenging maps.

02:05:401 (1) - Ctrl + G
I think this adds more emphasis to the next 2 notes which in my opinion is good since on 02:06:000 (1) - is where the song starts up

02:22:733 (7) - Ctrl + G
for the some of the same reasons above. the previous notes alternate in direction so making this one also alternate in directions holds a stable pattern and it adds more emphasis to the next stream which is right at the end of the first chorus so its kind of like a finale building note

02:25:145 (6) - Ctrl + G
when you play this it feels like you are doing a quick snap-back with your cursor and it feels soooooooooooo smooth

02:27:707 (3) - move this note up a little bit. maybe to x:256 y:224

02:35:847 (4,5) - Ctrl + G
Flipping the timeline position of these notes feels really good in my opinion also i think it works better with the previous 2 notes

03:21:516 (4,5) - Ctrl + G
Stacks notes like how you had it feels a bit dull right here in the song. swapping the timeline postion of the these 2 notes again as i keep saying adds a bit more emphasis to the next 2 notes which is where your song REALLY starts up in difficultys

06:08:706 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - these 1/4 sliders play pretty awkwardly for me. I would personally suggest maybe trying to find a different pattern for these however i can't really think of anything to help.

06:41:268 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - I also want to comment here and say i can't ever recall seeing a "Star-stream" done in this way before. I really like it. Very creative.

00:37:305 (5,7) - I wouldn't really recommend this overmap here. This part is really really calm, you put a lot of circles and it doesn't really fit with the song density and emphasis. 00:39:832 (4,6) - You can keep these because it's clearly full of 1/2 here.

01:26:253 (1) - The emphasis here is really higher than 01:25:779 (6,7,8) - and you put higher jumps on (6,7,8). Would be really better to increase (1)'s DS.

02:05:401 (1) - Ctrl + G for a better flow, saying this as a player. And somehow with Ctrl + G it looks like it fits better with the song, in my opinion.

02:12:030 (1) - This jump here is really high, and there's no great emphasizing beat o the white tick. It's better to reduce the DS.

02:54:230 (1) - Increase the DS because of the emphasizing beat and new section starting. You don't need to increase this circle's DS though, you can just move this one here 02:54:088 (6) - a bit more far from (1).

03:13:526 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - These jumps, and the next ontes, are quite too high. On this section the vocal is "increasing" but it's not that strong. You can make the first pattern closer to each other, and increase the DS of the next patterns. Like you did with that beautiful star pattern ♥ 03:11:115 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - .

03:31:009 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Don't know if it's a nazi thing but, Ctrl + H this pattern would improve the flow a lot, it did for me, it will make a circlar movement, and the way it's now is "breaking" the flow. But I'm a bad player, then I dunno. But of course, don't let it on the other side of the screen.

03:37:039 (1) - Ctrl + G here makes the flow smoother.

03:42:466 (1) - Eh, this NC here is breaking the "color beauty" of the star pattern, would be better to remove it just for aesthetic reasons. Plus, you already used NC here 03:41:863 (1) - . And same here 04:12:280 (1) -

04:26:752 (1,2,3,4) - Do you remember what I said about those 1/1 full screen jumps? Yeah, the emphasis is not high here too, it's pretty calm actually, would be better to move this whole pattern to somewhere near x256 y64. Here.

05:25:892 (1) - Would be better to put a circle here and start the slider on the second white tick. Would keep the consistency with the first pattern of this section, would be better to emphasize the vocal and the piano wouldn't be ignored.

05:54:2433 - Pleeeeeeeeease don't ignore the vocal here, would be really good to follow it with a low-SV slider or 1/1 anti-jumps circles <3. Example 1, Example 2. (I prefer the circles tho)

05:59:660 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Nooooooooooooo, make it a crescent jump, like my suggestion on those 1/1 jumps, pleeease. But you ou can keep these 06:02:072 (1,2,3,4) - because the beats are really strong here.

06:03:278 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - A jump like this would make the flow smoother, but would ruin your start pattern. I don't know, both are good.

06:41:268 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,1) - This is the best pattern of this game.
