All I've heard about it is that apparently it gets super hard and you basically play as a loli who flies around and dodges bullets to the music?!?!@?!

Touhou is basically a shoot em up game. You shoot enemies while dodging their bullets. It's not a rhythm game. You don't need the bgm to properly play it. There's the touhou wiki/wikia if you want to know how touhou works.Poisonmellon wrote:

Honestly the system looks really, really fun. Perma grazing make items stay longer on the screen, which is awesome for the graze-maniac.

If you think that boss is hard, try the last boss. I tried for half an hour to kill it, then I realised that you actually needed to complete the game on one set of lives. Nope. Not happening.
I don't think most people play Highly Responsive to Prayers.
