Hello all! I'm fairly new to osu! but have improved greatly over a short time. I play using osu! mania, due to my lack of mouse and knowledge of keys. I need some help, as I struggle with playing 5K and 7K songs, solely because of the spacebar. I can play 4K and 6K just fine, but the spacebar on odd-K songs throws me off. So I was wondering if anyone could recommend a better key to use, as I have a ton of 5K and 7K maps to play, but cannot play them well.

You have 400 plays. That's hardly anything at all. By the look of things you focus on playing easy maps, and mostly play autoconverts.Redon wrote:

If you legitimately want to improve, I suggest you find some mania specific maps that you can get As and Bs on, and play those, rather than Sing easy autoconverts. Playing songs you can already S will not help you improve quickly.
It always takes time to learn to play 5k/7k. You've only been a member here for ~20 days. I can't speak for everyone, but it certainly took me a lot longer than 20 days to get used to playing 7k when I was learning (that was in o2jam, not o!m, but that really doesn't matter).
I started playing 5K with spacebar. But as the time flows, i tried another keybingdings. And somehow, I enjoyed playing 5K maps with 2Left-3Right fingers without thumbs usage

Effective for me till now,
But still not mastered 7K yet, as I always fail on this
I don't know this bump will helpful or not, but at least try this (you'll start with low acc result, but now at least I can pass, if not master 5K [Hard] converted mania maps and NM/NOV 5K maps)

I can't use spacebar at all, but I'm getting better at it... slowly.
