Changed sv slightly to fit with my other santa maps, and applied changes from Sonnyc's mod.
The slider might not look the same because of changed sv and I had less to work with.

Oh hey. I got a skin request for once.

[Skin]
As you haven't skinned the slider parts and the hitburst it can create a weird clash with skins if you are using a custom, I suggest that you skin them too or set the preferred skin to default to avoid that.

Right now if you play at the default skin the score looks too spaced apart (https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/2302920) compared to the old skin (http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/2302927). As a large part of the player base is using the default it might be a good idea to make that one look better.

spinner-metre has bigger lines that doesn't really align with spinner-background.. I guess it supposed to be glow but because of that it dosn't go outside the background it looks kinda ugly (Especially on widescreen). (In general the spinner doesn't work well on widescreen)

soft-hitfinish3 is absurdly bigger than the other sound effects. There is a lot of silence in it so cut it down.

As it's over 10 MB you could lower the quality on the jpg images because the are pretty big right now.

Thanks for checking, fixed some parts of the skin.

And deleted the spinner since it don't fit the map.

  • 00:41:939 (1,2,3,4) - The jump from slider to slider goes in the opposite direction. This makes newbies to insane want to just not move their cursor because the slider circle still wraps around their cursor even if they don't move, which is bad in general. At least make them closer together, or change it all.
    02:14:939 (1,2,3,4,5) - These jumps are really annoying...
    03:29:939 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - I prefer to make this a correctly measured star. To make a star like that first do Ctrl-shift-D, make it 5 beats, arrange it so it goes around in a star, and replace this ugly stuff.
    03:35:939 (1,2) - Same as the first mod. make them closer together or change them.
    HP drain rate of 7 is harsh especially for an insane.
[Panely's Hard]
  • 01:08:001 (2,3) - Again, it goes against the sliders, change this as it especially applies to those who are starting / currently on hard.
    01:48:689 (3,4,5,6,7) - This doesn't matter much and I don't know how else you could change it to fit the song (except maybe doing ctrl-G to flip each one) but, This also promotes people starting hard to just hold at the beginning of the slider, instead of actually moving, which is bad. Flipping it will at least allow jumps to help them with jumping.
[Skin]

  • Crop the sides of the numbers because when you have multiple digits, the transparent space at the edges creates space between the two digits, making times when you have a combo of 10 or more it's really really ugly.
Other than that I love the skin. :)

In the normal diff 00:15:749 (1,1) - the gap between spinner and slider can be a bit questionable, but considering the low bpm and the difficulty of the normal diff should be fine IMO, also rhythm is correct so up to the next BAT

  12. This difficulty lacks quality. The patterns are very repetetive, which shouldn't be the case for an almost-4-minutes map if it should be fun to play. You got very few rhythm variation, most of the time it's all on 1/2. When you use 1/2-sliders, they are always copy-pasted and flipped, which lacks variation. Back-and-forth 1/2-circle patterns are overused, as well as the reusage of circles (aka placing a circle where there was already a circle some objects before). It gets a bit better in the end, but the issues apply for the whole diff.
While the other diffs are mostly fine, Insane needs some work before this can go qualified. Minimum would be to get atleast 3 more mods on the Insane diff by professional modders, to improve the overall flow. I'd also highly recommend you to search for the overused patterns I mentioned and replace some of them with more interesting ones, for more variation. At the moment, the map is not fun to play for me and it probably won't be for most players.

Yea I know it is fun to play for some players / mappers, since it was already bubbled twice, but I confirmed with QATs and they said it needs work before it can get qualified, so yea... We don't want to have a DQ after all. But I appreciate your opinion.
And about AR9 - if Sekai really wants to keep it I would be fine with it...
