Ok Here is my mod as requested from modding queue

~General Discussion~ It was a really great song and was extrodinarily fun with all the creative sliders. The hitsounds fits the song really well. Sekai-nyan never seizes to amaze me again. Wish I could map like this, but unfortunately I can't :)

[Lanturn's Easy]

  1. 01:08:939 (1) - Move this a little more to the left for perfect blanket
  2. 01:22:251 (4) - I feel like continuing the clap hitsound pattern is fine here. It doesn't really effect the sound but keeps it consistent
  3. 03:16:251 (4) - Same as the 1st one
  4. 03:19:439 (3) - I feel the end of that slider should have a clap because you didn't have one there but instead had it here with the exact same note pattern for example - 01:25:439 (3); it occurs other places as well so why not have it the same :)
    Love that bell at the end though really great stuff during the easy difficulty. Felt relatively fun and wasn't anything out of order
[Santa's Normal]

Hitsound wise I believe it would be best to have a slider without sound. It's melodic and the scraping sound of the slider doesn't sound too well with me. I felt letting the music itself play out the note without having an etched or scratchiness when doing sliders. Seems smoother that way or just in the first 2 timing points from 00:19:439 to 00:15:214
DS was all over the place for normal. I understand when used in slow parts or fast parts but some of them like here 01:04:439 (1,2) - Where the notes were at 1.4 then all of a sudden next note isn't using the same thing, even when no speed changes has occurred just the way the vocal plays out.

Great difficulty. My advice is just prioritize a DS there were changes all over the place. Keep them consistent; for jumps you had 1.5 and regular ones you had 1.2 but during the place there was ones with 1.3 then switch to 1.2 for no reason that I can think of. Just stick with one and the flow for players would feel better. :)

[Panely's Hard]

  1. 00:10:437 (4) - This placed there sounds really awkward because there isn't much I can find to bind that note to that area. My idea would be to 1.) Shorten the length of the slider and place it on a red tick at this time 00:10:573 or 2.) Just move the slider you had to the red tick in general. That's where there is space for the sound to travel and played where it doesn't sound off IMO 8-)
  2. 00:26:939 (1) - Little change but move 1 tick up for a perfect blanket
    (My hitsound suggestions to fit the music) Whistle at beginning 00:32:189 (3); 00:34:439 (1); 00:37:439 (1); 00:38:751 (1); both 00:39:501 (3,4); 00:40:439 (1) generally something like that and continue with it. It flows well with the claps that are involved and it doesn't feel as blank if it doesn't have a jungle to a Christmas Song, but if this was too much then you can skip past this part of the suggestion :D
  3. 01:07:064 (3,4,1) - Is this what you intended to do? There is a huge gap there but most players would just rather follow the same DS for that part rather than a fat jump out of nowhere, but if you intended that then please do leave it like that
  4. 02:11:376 (7,1) - The polarity you put in here doesn't sound as good as shortening the slider of (7) to end on a red tick IMO but right here is where it's good 02:15:501 (6,7)
  5. 03:43:064 (4) - This slider ending at a white tick by stretching it to where the spinner starts sound better. It ends with the note being hit rather than spinning on a sound :o
[Merry X'Mas]

  1. 00:31:814 (2) - Move slider end up a little to be parallel with this note 00:31:439 (1)
  2. 00:55:439 (1) - Slider at the end here seems a bit off in its on variation rather than the stream pattern; Maybe fix or it was intentional and leave it as is
  3. 02:26:939 (1,4,5,6,7) - Try making them space a little more consistently? The 2nd and 3rd 1/2 sliders are a bit further apart in spacing wise than the rest was
  4. 02:59:095 (2) - NC can start here during the stream because it follows off the fat jingle that occurs there
    As far as I'm concerned that's about it I can mod
It was a great song and should be on it's way to Christmas Extravaganza; Modding Time: ~45 minutes but it was worth it for the Jingles

Nice normal, a couple of blanket and overlap issues. Also felt more like a normal+ than a normal.

Fun map to play! I noticed you used patterns such as 01:06:689 (3,4,5,6,1) - a lot throughout the map. This isn't a bad thing, per say, but it's always good to have a little variety in patterns! :3
01:47:751 - No sound here? :c
02:58:439 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Stream! :D/ maybe add a little more movement than just an arc to highlight the epic buildup that is stream?

Try to see the charm in overlaps like I do. The "ugly" overlaps doesn't really bother me at all during gameplay.
Seeing stuff through the editor is different.

Also, if you solely looking at the SV differences and not the actual difficulty, something is wrong.

Changed sv slightly to fit with my other santa maps, and applied changes from Sonnyc's mod.
The slider might not look the same because of changed sv and I had less to work with.

Oh hey. I got a skin request for once.

[Skin]
As you haven't skinned the slider parts and the hitburst it can create a weird clash with skins if you are using a custom, I suggest that you skin them too or set the preferred skin to default to avoid that.

Right now if you play at the default skin the score looks too spaced apart (https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/2302920) compared to the old skin (http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/2302927). As a large part of the player base is using the default it might be a good idea to make that one look better.

spinner-metre has bigger lines that doesn't really align with spinner-background.. I guess it supposed to be glow but because of that it dosn't go outside the background it looks kinda ugly (Especially on widescreen). (In general the spinner doesn't work well on widescreen)

soft-hitfinish3 is absurdly bigger than the other sound effects. There is a lot of silence in it so cut it down.

As it's over 10 MB you could lower the quality on the jpg images because the are pretty big right now.

  • 00:41:939 (1,2,3,4) - The jump from slider to slider goes in the opposite direction. This makes newbies to insane want to just not move their cursor because the slider circle still wraps around their cursor even if they don't move, which is bad in general. At least make them closer together, or change it all.
    02:14:939 (1,2,3,4,5) - These jumps are really annoying...
    03:29:939 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - I prefer to make this a correctly measured star. To make a star like that first do Ctrl-shift-D, make it 5 beats, arrange it so it goes around in a star, and replace this ugly stuff.
    03:35:939 (1,2) - Same as the first mod. make them closer together or change them.
    HP drain rate of 7 is harsh especially for an insane.
[Panely's Hard]
  • 01:08:001 (2,3) - Again, it goes against the sliders, change this as it especially applies to those who are starting / currently on hard.
    01:48:689 (3,4,5,6,7) - This doesn't matter much and I don't know how else you could change it to fit the song (except maybe doing ctrl-G to flip each one) but, This also promotes people starting hard to just hold at the beginning of the slider, instead of actually moving, which is bad. Flipping it will at least allow jumps to help them with jumping.
[Skin]

  • Crop the sides of the numbers because when you have multiple digits, the transparent space at the edges creates space between the two digits, making times when you have a combo of 10 or more it's really really ugly.
Other than that I love the skin. :)
