I think there is something seriously wrong with the new bancho code (while connecting) causing freezing. Something may be running on the main thread that shouldn't be.

That's probably because you had another game mode selected. It's a known issue, if I'm not wrong.hadis1000 wrote:
Clicking on a Mania score under local rankings duplicates the score. https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3779836
A restart fixed this and I couldn't reproduce since.

That back button though.
Are you actually and 100% sure that it's on 10 and you didn't move it, by a missclick or whatever? Check it please, because you wouldn't be the first one that says "it's on 10 lol" without checking it and then it was moved because of a missclick.Timorisu wrote:

Merged your post to the CE thread, since you are saying it is only in Beta and CE. Also, would be nice if you could provide your "gl_info.txt". You will find it in your installation folder.PixelRedstoner wrote:
Problem Details:
While playing any map, i get a random lag spike which lasts for 1 second and always makes me fail. It happens every 4-5 minutes.
This happens on beta and Cutting Edge but not on Stable.
Video or screenshot showing the problem:

EDIT: Another screenshot: http://puu.sh/kEiN8/f29e31a35f.jpg
I remember testing this behaviour and it happens on stable too.riktoi wrote:
When highlighting an object via aimod (for ex. a unsnapped object) It selects the object (like it's supposed to do) but when you unselect it via clicking anywhere else on the screen it doesn't visually unselect it.
As you can see from the picture above the hitcircle is not selected on the timeline but it still shows visually that it would indeed be selected. The only way to undo this effect is to select the hitcircle manually by clicking it and THEN unselecting it.
This is already known, don't worry. If you care about your scores, change to Beta or Stable.riktoi wrote:
Another issue now that the multiplayer change came: It possibly broke score submission. Any score that I do on a ranked map only goes on local records and doesn't get submitted.

Not sure if this is fixed yet but I merged this to the cuttingedge thread anyway.xarathas wrote:
Hey, when you change your local offset on a Beatmap it will take priority over the "qualified" notification when starting a beatmap (or if at all, it will only flash for a fraction of a second)
Nothing big but I don't think this is intended
osu! version: 20151009.1cuttingedge
Okay thank you.peppy wrote:
Yes. Read the blog post about it.
Your discrete card won't work with cutting edge. nVidia optimus (what your laptop uses to combine discrete and integrated) doesn't support OpenGL properly. Configure your laptop to use the integrated graphics for osu! and it should run more smoothly, albeit most likely not quite at 400fps.Moosqueak wrote:
I've done a bit of experimentation on Cutting-edge, and I'm not sure that this is the right place to post this, but...
Huge lag issues:
CE (240 cap): http://puu.sh/kEzxk/49ec4c3c04.jpg
Stable w/ DX (Unlimited): http://puu.sh/kEzy5/d0c48285a8.jpg

Random frame drops/lagspikes:

Lag when I switch mapsets:

In addition to this, the cursor simply feels weird, as though there is mouse acceleration or some other factor messing with it. This may or may not be some form of increased input lag; I am unsure. It also happens on stable with OpenGL, but to a lesser extent than cutting edge.
Edit: I'm using an MSI Apache-012 running on the dedicated graphics card, which is a GTX 860M if I recall correctly.
Moved your post from Development to Help/CE thread. This is a known issue. CPU usage sometimes goes crazy since a few days ago. I guess it will be fixed soon.JHatter wrote:
Not sure where this would be posted.
Currently on experimental I'm getting 80 or so CPU usage coupled with a lot of game lag.
I'm aware it's cutting edge and there will be bugs but I'd just like to put this out there just in case the devs are not aware.

This issue is happening on this CPU, have not tested it on any others: AMD FX-8150 8 core
