Hi guys and girls
I'm looking for advise on a new mechanical keyboard. I have a Razer Blackwidow but I'm getting tired of the blue switches (double tapping sucks which makes life hard in Tee Worlds and Osu!) and it's starting to show wear and tear. I've got my eye on the Corsair K95 (macro keys are useful) or K70 (looks better). Any current or previous owners who can comment on the Corsair keyboards?
Also I'm just wondering whether the key-press registering (due to debri in the switch) is an issue specific to Blue switches or Cherry switches in general? I'm a smoker and have dogs, so no matter how often I clean there is always a bit of debris getting into the switches (another advantage the Corsairs seem to have is the keys don't sit inside the body, so cleaning under should be easier).
Brands like Ducky and DAS are unfortunately scarce in my country, so I'm stuck to most of the mainstream gaming brands (Razer, Corsair, Logitech and CoolerMaster, with SteelSeries being a bit overpriced)
