Hi, I saw your request in #modreqs so here's my mod! Hopefully I can help you a little bit

[Insane]

00:24:380 (1) - Remove NC

00:25:107 (3) - Add NC

00:25:107 (3) - Move this to 112, 208. I think it looks better here

00:25:470 (4) - if you do this ^ then move this to 64, 128

00:26:925 (2,3) - This spacing is pretty big, consider lowering this distance a little bit

You generally want to try to keep your new combos started on the big white ticks, so i'll stop mentioning it because there is a lot of misplaced combos

00:32:107 (6) - Delete this circle

00:44:380 (2) - this is very very very bad, you must move this to 448, 208

00:44:561 (3) - Move this to 384, 304

00:51:289 (1,1) - These sliders are pretty confusing, give them a regular shape

00:53:834 (11) - These notes are to close, compared to the rest

01:00:380 (1,2) - This is a pretty big distance as well, make this a little smaller

01:21:834 Add Kiai time here

Well that's it for my mod! Hopefully this helped you a little bit

  1. why are you using haruhi spinner in a beatmap that is not related to suzumiya haruhi?
btw if you still want to use it remember to credit the original skin/creator
same for any other skin element, do not use anything without permission
  2. there is a lot of custom hitsound files in the folder but you are not using any of them
this is actually an unrankeable issue, remove anything unused from the folder and submit the map again

  3. your background image is not 4:3 or 16:9
    please use this one http://blogs.c.yimg.jp/res/blog-6d-5e/k ... 0276/img_0
EndlessShadow's

  1. I'm sorry for saying this but this diff needs to be remapped. An easy diff should not have speed changes like that, especially when the harder diffs does not includes sv changes.
  2. You are mapping with sv 1.70 . thats faster than the normal diff's sv, please change the sv to 1,20 or something like that
  3. Map with distance snap on, if you dont know distance snap, try to ask your closest mapping friends (experient ones) about this
  4. Try to keep the rhythm simple as its the easiest diff. focust on the most important sounds. Those are usually the long white ticks and the 2nd beat after it ( this logic http://puu.sh/bC2lw/8168de1356.jpg ) so try to keep your beats on them and do not skip them when using sliders (00:28:380 (3) - dont do this)
  5. Use long sliders where it actually fits
  6. Do not use too many repeats in short sliders, its hard to know when the sliders will end
  7. Avoid using stacks (notes above notes. mostly circles and slider starts) and overlapped notes (notes touching notes, that includes slider start/bodies and circles )
Normal +

  1. You should not aim for a normal+ in this beatmap imo. simple is better for newbies
  2. The diff itself is nice, just wanted to mention that i think it should be simplified
  3. 00:25:289 (4,5,6,7) - Try to keep your beats in white ticks, shifting the beat polarity to red ticks is not newbie friendly. i also think that they are not that fitting here. please try something like this http://puu.sh/bD8Q9/be7efb7d82.jpg
  4. 00:26:561 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Avoid to overlap like that. make your hit objects visible for newbies so they wont have more trouble to play the game (they are still learning to play, improving aim accuracy and speed)
  5. 00:29:289 - I would suggest you to remove this note because its not an important beat and it would help to make this look more like a normal diff
but its up to you of course
  6. 00:29:470 - More overlaps in this combo and the next ones, you should really do something about them
  7. 00:36:016 (2,3,4) - This could confuse newbies making them think that the note that they need to hit after (2) is actually the (4)
  8. 00:43:470 (5) - This slider is not fitting, i mean you are forged the rhythm here just because you wanted to keep using a repeat slider.
never forget about the rhythm, its the most important thing when mapping music.
please remove the slider and add circles at 00:43:652 - and 00:44:016 - (could be a long slider instead of two circles, but its up to you ofc)
  9. 00:57:289 - There is no point in starting this slider here, it should start at 00:57:107 - and end at 00:57:834 -
  10. 01:12:380 - again, overlaps

i think i covered most of the important issues in the diff. what i mentioned applies for other parts of the diff too, so please fix what you think that applies to my suggestions

just remember to make a balance between rhythm and friendly flow because this is a difficulty meant to played by newbies
Hard+

  1. Hard does not needs to be called hard+ because it's not too difficult
  2. 00:25:470 (5,7)- I don't like this overlap. overlaps are usually fine in hard and insane diffs when they fit and look nice, but this one does not works for me.
  3. 00:32:380 (4,1) - I would move this notes to 00:32:561 - 00:32:925 - cause they sound/play better for me
  4. 00:51:289 (1,1) - Random slider shape usage maybe? i dont really like them but maybe this is just about taste.
  5. 00:56:925 (9,1,1,2) - Spacing is a mess here. 1st you have a sudden and huge jump, then you make a 0.60 slow down then get back to 1.0
i would suggest you make a smaller jump then use your preferred DS in a consistent way here.
  6. 01:08:743 (12) - I'm not a fan of overlaps, you are not even trying to make them look nice o:
  7. 01:13:834 (4) - ugly slider shape
  8. 01:31:652 (5,6,7,8) - Overlaps!
  9. 01:56:016 (1,2,3) - Spacing is a mess here too. try to keep a reasonable distance snap here too. there is no need to make this part so slow
  10. 01:59:470 - ^

The last part has weird spacing usage too. don't raise the difficulty level that much at the end

I noticed you tried to make some parts without sliders, thats fine but make sure it wont look bad or play bad

In general i approve your rhythm choices and notes placement on screen in this difficulty. You just need to improve your slider shapes, visual appeal and distance snap usage.
Insane

  1. I'm not a fan of modding challenging difficulties and your style is a lot different than mines (and needs a lot of work)
so i will just give you some advices.
  2. Your circle placement looks very random and somewhat ugly, mostly the ones at white and red ticks ( for exemple 00:48:561 - 00:54:561 - 01:04:561 - 01:29:834 - )
  3. AR9 is too much for that difficulty imo. i would aim for ar 8
  4. Do not add notes where there is no beat (this is called overmapping)
  5. 01:04:016 - Ugly stream, always try cleaner curves and shapes
thats it, let me know if you don't understand something in my suggestions

good luck

  8. 00:43:470 (5) - This slider is not fitting, i mean you are forged the rhythm here just because you wanted to keep using a repeat slider.
never forget about the rhythm, its the most important thing when mapping music.

Hard+

  1. Hard does not needs to be called hard+ because it's not too difficult fixed
  2. 00:25:470 (5,7)- I don't like this overlap. overlaps are usually fine in hard and insane diffs when they fit and look nice, but this one does not works for me. fixed. overlap 4 with 5, 6 with 7
  3. 00:32:380 (4,1) - I would move this notes to 00:32:561 - 00:32:925 - cause they sound/play better for me good
  4. 00:51:289 (1,1) - Random slider shape usage maybe? i dont really like them but maybe this is just about taste. yes. leftover from insane. will change (;・∀・)
  5. 00:56:925 (9,1,1,2) - Spacing is a mess here. 1st you have a sudden and huge jump, then you make a 0.60 slow down then get back to 1.0
i would suggest you make a smaller jump then use your preferred DS in a consistent way here. thx. fixed. also removed 00:57:107 (1) -
  6. 01:08:743 (12) - I'm not a fan of overlaps, you are not even trying to make them look nice o: lazy mapping (・_・;) will re-arrange
  7. 01:13:834 (4) - ugly slider shape thx it's terrible
  8. 01:31:652 (5,6,7,8) - Overlaps! re-arrange~
  9. 01:56:016 (1,2,3) - Spacing is a mess here too. try to keep a reasonable distance snap here too. there is no need to make this part so slow ok. re-arrange~
  10. 01:59:470 - ^ i moved 3. i will change the rest if more people mention

The last part has weird spacing usage too. don't raise the difficulty level that much at the end i want to keep it. but maybe overdid it. will consider

I noticed you tried to make some parts without sliders, thats fine but make sure it wont look bad or play bad ok

In general i approve your rhythm choices and notes placement on screen in this difficulty. You just need to improve your slider shapes, visual appeal and distance snap usage. thx. very helpful
Insane

  4. Do not add notes where there is no beat (this is called overmapping) i like overmapping
  5. 01:04:016 - Ugly stream, always try cleaner curves and shapes thx. will try curve

very helpful! thx so much, will update map later today

catching up for the missing request;w; good map, i like it.
normal
  1. 00:30:198 add
  2. 00:42:925 (3,4,5) - rearrange
  3. 01:20:743 (1) - I'm not sure if the spinner is too short for normal players... why not use a circle with a slider for the previous combo set to make that vocal?
  4. 01:44:016 (4,5,6,7) - the pattern is confusing, i suggest you rearrange them or make a NC on (5)
  5. 01:47:652 (11,12) - rearrange
  6. 02:00:380 add. If you think the note is repeating to much then try to use some sliders instead, e.g. 02:00:743 (5,6) -
    personal suggestions... i never done a normal though;w;

hard
  1. 00:26:016 (6) - NC
  2. 00:29:107 (1) - NC
  3. 00:30:743 (1) - NC
  4. 00:32:380 (4) - NC
  5. 00:37:834 (8) - NC
  6. 00:38:743 (10,12) - try to put them in the same place
  7. 00:42:198 (4) - put it farther to 3 and 5
  8. 00:44:016 (1) - remove but a circle instead. also add a slider reversing 3 times at 00:44:198 -
  9. 00:44:743 (2) - remove
  10. 00:45:107 (3,4) - remove and add another slider reversing 3 times at 00:44:929 - , or a triangle with 3 circles.
    for the 3 points above, are you trying to make a special rhythm for the part? i think you should follow the sound track;w;
  11. 00:45:652 (5) - NC
  12. 00:46:561 (1) - remove NC
  13. 00:57:289 (10,11,12) - delete 10 and copy paste 11,12 at 00:57:107 -
  14. 00:58:561 (13) - NC
  15. 01:04:198 (2) - NC here instead of 01:04:380 (1) -
  16. 01:05:652 (1,3) - do the same thing as ^ and all the patterns followiing
  17. 01:07:289 (8) - NC
  18. 01:09:834 (1,2,3,1) - rearrange
  19. 01:03:652 (2) - remove NC
  20. 01:21:289 - add a circle here and let the spinner stop at 01:21:107 -
  21. 02:08:198 (3,1) - scary... rearrange
  22. 02:11:289 (1,2,3,4,5) - try to make them not overlapping, but a very small distance between them.
  23. 02:12:925 (7,8) - try jump here? and sound effects should be finish

insane
Many things need to change...I will give you some vital points and a general thought of it. If you think of it and make a recheck for the map you may find the problems are more than you thought, butare all not that important

First thing first, the distance should be fixed. Many notes are placed well but the distance between a few of them are a bit unacceptable e.g. 01:30:925 (3,4) - , but you are still doing it better than me ;w;

The distance i mentioned also includes some detailed things, or say the placement of notes. Some of them could be overlapping yet not, some of them should be separate yet not, and for 00:40:743 (1,2,3,4,1) - I am not so fancy of its shape.

Talking about overlapping, if the notes are still visible in edit screen then try to avoid making them overlap, other wise it's a bit huddle here.

Sample set for the map should be normal for the most of the draining time, add time sections when you want to use some soft samples. Or if you want to keep the soft samples, make it louder. Generally the sound effect is good enough.

  1. 00:32:107 (3) - remove
  2. 00:34:743 (5) - NC and use a 1/4 slider instead
  3. 00:46:561 (1) - remove NC
  4. 01:20:380 (9) - stretch it
  5. 02:00:016 (1) - remove NC
  6. 02:00:562 (6) - NC
    02:05:470 (1,2) - finish for the start of 1 ,and 2
  7. 02:11:289 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - rearrange the placement
  8. 02:12:925 (2) - finish and clap instead of whistle

Sorry for my bad vocab choice and poor English...

  7. 00:42:198 (4) - put it farther to 3 and 5 i will try something
  8. 00:44:016 (1) - remove but a circle instead. also add a slider reversing 3 times at 00:44:198 - did something else

  10. 00:45:107 (3,4) - remove and add another slider reversing 3 times at 00:44:929 - , or a triangle with 3 circles.

  11. 00:45:652 (5) - NC
  12. 00:46:561 (1) - remove NC
  13. 00:57:289 (10,11,12) - delete 10 and copy paste 11,12 at 00:57:107 - good! done

  19. 01:03:652 (2) - remove NC
  20. 01:21:289 - add a circle here and let the spinner stop at 01:21:107 - i think it will be chaotic
  21. 02:08:198 (3,1) - scary... rearrange i will think something for this part
  22. 02:11:289 (1,2,3,4,5) - try to make them not overlapping, but a very small distance between them.
  23. 02:12:925 (7,8) - try jump here? and sound effects should be finishvery good!
as for NC, many people tell me to only start on white tick, so I am not sure.

insane
Many things need to change...I will give you some vital points and a general thought of it. If you think of it and make a recheck for the map you may find the problems are more than you thought, butare all not that important please tell me i want to fix them!

First thing first, the distance should be fixed. Many notes are placed well but the distance between a few of them are a bit unacceptable e.g. 01:30:925 (3,4) - , but you are still doing it better than me ;w; thx, i like this example, but maybe some other part need fix

The distance i mentioned also includes some detailed things, or say the placement of notes. Some of them could be overlapping yet not, some of them should be separate yet not, and for 00:40:743 (1,2,3,4,1) - I am not so fancy of its shape. i agree but i don't know what to change. maybe some stream and triple can be closer or overlap. i will try some thing

Talking about overlapping, if the notes are still visible in edit screen then try to avoid making them overlap, other wise it's a bit huddle here. if is obvious when playing i don't care (because it's insane diff) but if is not obvious when playing or ugly i will fix

Sample set for the map should be normal for the most of the draining time, add time sections when you want to use some soft samples. Or if you want to keep the soft samples, make it louder. Generally the sound effect is good enough. thx! i will try it
