Songs have different instruments, so beatcircles can be timed in different ways, to the melody, the beat, or if there're vocals, perhaps even to the vocals.
So I thought -and I'm bad at thinking, so this is probably the worst idea ever-, why not have some kind of co-op that allows for friends to play a map like that. Each of them gets 'assigned' one instrument, or basically one 'layer' of circles.
Of course this'd require a special mode in the editor and such maps could only be played "one instrument at a time", or only in multiplayer, but I dunno, seemed like a funny idea. Nothing serious though, but I just wanted to see what the community'd think about it.

The f- are you saying?
I bet you know guitar hero, basically if you hook up different controllers ('instruments') to the game you can play the
instruments in the songs with friends, for ex. you playing the guitar and your friend(s) playing the drums or whatever.
Basically this, but in osu, and with circles and clicking, or perhaps even taiko/osu!/osu!mania hybrid, that'd be even cooler,
but let's keep it simple for now.
