I think mania skin options are a bit bugged since the new options layout. I noticed it on a similiar skin where it also used a different column width for the first lane.


This is a good looking skin.

But after noticing that you have read my "guide or notes" you implemented some points out of place or that are unnecessary.

First the skin.ini:
Since it is a mania-only skin a lot of lines aren't necessary like the lines related to the sliderball and its track unless your skin can be used for standard gameplay.
You can remove SliderBallFlip, SliderBallFrames, SliderStyle, eventually SliderBorder and SliderTrackOverride.
For the combo colours RGBA isn't used, only RGB. For a monotone colour only 2 combo colours must be listed with the same code. The other lines are too much and won't affect mania gameplay in any way.
HighResolution doesn't work in the skin.ini and must be set by users themselves, so remove it please. It also makes no sense to use since you don't have HD-elements in the skin.
Change CursorCentre: 1 to CursorCentre: 0 since this option exists for this style of cursors.

Now for the files or in your skin:
All the mod icons are from another skin so leave them out or make new ones that fit the theme better. Try to design them like the buttons.
match-confirm, match-join, match-start and menu-leave sounds aren't used anymore, so leave them out.

Your mania notes and keys are better off being named like in the standard skin like mania-key1, mania-key2D, mania-noteSH, etc., so you don't have to write all lanes under the images section. They will be aligned automatically.
Remove all custom keyimages from your #K.inis and adjust the ColumnWidth in every file.

ColumnWidth: 30,26,26,30 (for 4K)
ColumnWidth: 30,26,30,26,30 (for 5K)
ColumnWidth: 55,30,26,30,26,30 (for 6K)
ColumnWidth: 30,26,30,26,30,26,30 (for 7K)
ColumnWidth: 55,30,26,30,26,30,26,30 (for 8K)

I recommend to only have the special turntable key and its notes in the 6K and 8K.inis with SpecialStyle:1.
Adjust your 6K and 8K.ini files to the renaming of the green notes. Only this key modes support SpecialStyle gameplay.

Rename your keys and notes like this and put them into the skin folder directly instead in additional folders:

1. mania1off to mania-key1
2. mania1 to mania-key1D
3. mania2off to mania-key2
4. mania2 to mania-key2D
5. mania3off to mania-keyS
6. mania3 to mania-keySD

1. make a copy of white before renaming and change the copy's name to mania-noteS
2. make a copy of white2H before renaming and change the copy's name to mania-noteSH
3. make a copy of whiteL before renaming and change the copy's name to mania-noteSL

1. white to mania-note1
2. white2L to mania-note1H
3. whiteL to mania-note1L

1. blue to mania-note2
2. blue2H to mania-note2H
3. blueL to mania-note2L

1. greenD to mania-noteTURN
2. greenD2H to mania-noteTURNH
3. greenDL to mania-noteTURNL

Your images section in the 6K and 8K.inis should look like this then:

These are the main points you have to change.
My "guide" isn't a complete one and may contain errors or misunderstandings, that I don't want to see spread out as false information.

Hope to see this fixed.

His styling is correct, since it's a skin from a game. (I have) No objections on it; less points that must be fixed.

As for suggestion. 4K musn't have a turntable.

Also yeah, 4,5 and 7k musn't have turntables it's okay for 6k since 5K LR2 mode was practically 6k, otherwise it's perfect

the DL link when its on mediafire, its always says "regenerating DL link" but when it says i can go, it always goes back to the same page.....halp
