- Matches are booked by team captain.
- Matches are to be booked before each round of the tournament (Friday). Failure to do so may be prompted a reminder and failure to book after that may result in disqualification for that round.
- Match timings while flexible to changes, must adhere to within the round schedule
timeframe. - Reschedules will only be considered if both teams agree to a time and communicate it to the tournament organizers.
The Qualifier stage of the Skibidi Mania Cup is designed to determine overall seeding for their chosen division, allowing them to attempt to earn their place in the tournament brackets. Here’s what you need to know about the Qualifier format:
The 7 stages consist of 2 RC, 2LN, 2HB & 1SV map.
All songs are to be played with Score v2.
- In the Qualifier stage, all teams will play a specific pool.
- The Qualifier pool contains 7 stages, all of which will use score v2. Only Freemods such as MR, NF, HR, FL, HD, FadeIn are allowed.
- Teams will have 2 max attempt to play the mappool in a designated time. The team's best playthrough for each stage across the 2 attempts will be used for seeding.
- The mappool is to be played according to the order 'RC1>RC2>LN1>LN2>HB1>HB2>SV'.
- Teams have to retry their 2nd attempt from RC1. No skipping of stages per attempt is allowed.
- Each team must have 3 members to play each map. They may be exchanged freely after a map is concluded.
- An optional 3-minute break will be offered between the first and second playthrough of the mappool.
- The seeding method used for Qualifiers will be average seed rank. For example, if your team's seedings are 2, 4, 10, 11, 17, 1, 2, your average seeding will be (2+4+10+11+17+1+2) / 7 = ~7.
- The top 8 seeded team for Risings Division will advance to the Round of 8.
- The top 16 seeded team for Advanced/Archon Division will advance to the Round of 8.
The 7 stages consist of 2 RC, 2LN, 2HB & 1SV map.
All songs are to be played with Score v2.
- A referee will create a multiplayer room 10 minutes before the scheduled match time. Teams must join the lobby in that period.
- The room settings will be "osu!mania", "Team Vs" and "ScoreV2".
- Each Captain must use !roll in chat, determining the pick and ban order for the match.
- Winner of !roll protects one map first, followed by the loser of the !roll. They may not protect the same beatmap. Protected beatmaps may not be banned.
- Loser of !roll bans one map first, followed by the winner of the !roll.
- Winner of !roll picks the first map.
- After bans are decided, both teams will take turns in picking a beatmap from the mappool.
- Exceeding the pick/ready time earns a warning; repeated delays result in random picks or forced starts.
- If delays persist, referees use !roll x for random picks or !mp start 10 to start matches immediately.
- Teams can substitute players due to unforeseen issues, provided the original roster remains unchanged.
- Each team gets one optional 2-minute tactical timeout, including for the tiebreaker with both captains' agreement.
- Allowed mods in the freemod pool are Hidden, FadeIn, Flashlight, HardRock and Mirror.
- Skill Divisions: Players are placed into divisions based on 4k rank.
- Double Elimination: Each player/team gets two chances before elimination.
- Seeding: Lowest Seed will seed with highest seed.
- Match Schedule: Dates and times will be announced in advance.
- Sportsmanship: Show respect to opponents and play fairly.
- Live Streamed: Key matches will be broadcast live on Twitch.
- No Cheating: Any form of cheating or exploiting will result in a ban.
