group stage proceedings
- Group Stage will last for 2 weeks because each team has to play 2-4 matches.
- It will run as a Best of 7. The mappool structure is as follows:
5NM / 1HD / 3HR / 2DT - Both players in each team are required to enter the multiplayer lobby at the scheduled match time. Late penalties are described below.
- There will be no warmups.
- Higher roll gets second ban first pick. Each team only gets one ban.
- Each team is then required to ban and pick their first 2 maps before play.
- After every 4 maps played, both teams are required to pick their next 2 maps before play again.
- The order is banBA>pickABAB>play>pickAB>play>TB, with A as the roll winner.
- Each team will be given a maximum of 90 seconds for every action (ban/choosing maps). Failure to decide before the time limit may result in the opposing team making the decision.
- After a beatmap has been selected, teams will have a maximum time of 90 seconds to ready up. Otherwise, a force-start may be done by the referee. More time may be given under the referee's discretion.
- All maps will be played with NoFail.
- In the case of a draw, the team that did not pick the map wins the point.
- Once a team wins 4 maps, they win the match. If both teams reach match point, the tiebreaker will be played to determine the winner of the match.
- If a match reaches the tiebreaker, there will be three maps left in the mappool. Each team PMs the referee to ban one map and the remaining map will be played as the tiebreaker.
- If both teams ban the same map, the referee will !roll 2 to determine the tiebreaker.
Late Penalties - Less than 5 minutes: No penalty.
- 5-10 minutes: Opposing team chooses whether to pick first or ban first.
- 10-15 minutes: Walkover.
Bracket Stage Seeding - There will be a z-score leaderboard of every map played by every team using their best team score, including eliminated teams.
- Teams in each tier (UPPER WB, LOWER WB, UPPER LB, LOWER LB) will be sorted according to said z-score leaderboard.
The top 32 teams from Group Stage will be seeded based on their overall results from their Group Stage performance.
Bracket Stage will be Double Elimination, Loser's Bracket will play the same pool as Winner's Bracket that week.
Higher roll gets second ban first pick. At every round, teams are given two bans each.
Please read the proceedings below to be caught up with the new pick ban phases.
