Just to not completely make this a FG thread I wanna talk about the video for a bit.

I've watched many video essays regarding Ellison's I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, but never have I watched one with an analysis as great as this.

Many delve into the horror and terrifying thoughts one may usually have when exploring the work, but it's the first time I've seen it be viewed from such a unique philosophical perspective. I especially love the points in which Ted's act of murdering the remaining survivors is seen as an act of love and how AM and Ted are enduring the same type of suffering at the end of the story.

These points give such a new and refreshing perspective for the work and it actually makes us more empathetic of AM and Ted regardless of the extreme actions they took.
