Also it always throws me off how to the north Europe is, like I heard Spain has a reputation of being hot but it's so high up, and France and Hokkaido are at the same latitude? And the UK is mostly above where most Canadians live, like damn why are you guys so high up

We're very high yeah.

Northernmost I've been is probably where I currently live, which is 49 according to google (seems really high tbh).

Most Canadians live in the bottom half of Canada the north of Canada is very rural. But we are still higher than all of America so... (minus Alaska I guess?)
