PP not increasing and rank is just going down despite recent plays showing on profile. I have manually updated osu.

well crap thanks, i read the wiki page and somehow missed that[clouds] wrote:
you can’t gain raw pp, pp is weighted by your top plays.
the weighted pp is the amount that you receive in your total pp. you can read more about the weighting system in this wiki page.
it's a bit different OSU is weighting the pp that you get from a play by the standard plays you do everyday lets say you do on a daily basis like consistent 200pp plays then make a 300 that 300 will be weight stronger than the 200pp plays bc It's something you not usually set and let's say you do every time like 100 plays only then setting a 300 will probably get you banned but if not it will be weight very much stronger than the 300pp play when you do 200pp plays consistently[clouds] wrote:
