I played what you have so far and it's a pretty fun map! Looking forward to when it's finished.

Just a quick suggestion, have you considered HP7 instead of HP8 on the One more time diff?
I feel like HP8 is a little too harsh on this map, and HP7 will still be difficult enough but won't make people rage.

01:38:775 - There's a beat with no note, where at 01:45:175 has the same beat and is mapped.. Perhaps you should add it for consistency?

Here i can write really weird stuff since I'm not used to such slow maps, sorry if i do ;x
00:08:775 - this moment circle + slider + circle doesn't fit. Try maybe 1/8 reverse slider?
00:13:775 - it's not wrong, but i'd at least try shortenning this slider and reverting it two more times
00:36:575 - this slider feels weird. there's pause in the music in this point.
01:13:375 - two circles, doesn't quite sound right
01:19:575 - not wrong, but it's quite quick circle after a slider, and may be a bit much since it's only hard diff. I'd consider overlapping it with ending slider? you decide
01:22:575 - weird circle. you should somehow change it, maybe reverse following slider more or something.
02:03:975 - this slider i a bit too long and feels off. a few seconds later is similar one but somehow it was ok for me. Maybe i'm seeing things ;x

00:20:875 - try moving this circle either somewhere in between those sliders, or where the second one begins. I see you make this pattern quite often, but it seriously isn't pleasant to play. ofc i'm not insisting but consider it.

  4. 00:42:175 (3) Try to curve it a bit, it will improve the flow with the previous "curved" slider. Something like this:

The map isn't ready yet for a qualification, mainly due to the gap from Hard > Insane (which should be fixed really soon) and the lack of quality in Insane and Normal. However, I modded the Insane now and hopefully it's better. I'll continue to mod the Normal and possibly the Easy tomorrow, and after that I'll do a final check on the set and assure it has enough quality for a qualification. The Collab Hard is really cool, though.

edit: We went over the Normal and changed bunch of rhythms to better ones so the stanzas wouldn't be covered by slider repeats. The set seems better now, but I really suggest you guys get (a lot) more mods, since it wont obviously hurt and it'll improve the quality of this set. :P

  1. you ought to be consistent with kiais in your diffs (not collab.)
  2. some AiBAT stuff, check them out.

  3. i'll be modding this with the assumption that its predominantly vocal mapping.
  4. map has very confusing spacing between 1/4, 1/2 spacing between sliders.
  5. lots of 1/4 overmap, like a lot.
  6. most things i say are repeated.
  7. 00:06:575 (4,1,2) - 00:08:175 (1,2,3) - you do this really confusing spacing thing here, where the 1/4 spacing is almost identical to the 1/2 spacing of sliders. consider increasing the spacing of 1/2 sliders.
  8. 00:10:575 (3,5,6,7,8) - these don't necessary land on anything, try changing it up.
  9. 00:21:375 (2,3,4,1,2) - very odd here spacing ,why~
  10. 00:40:175 (1) - 2 circles are more appropriate!
  11. 00:44:475 (2,4,6) - very obvious overmap.
  12. 00:55:975 (1) - this is ...awkward to say the least. it repeats on a vocal yes, but the rest of the vocals are left unstressed.
  13. 01:03:675 - you could do a blue tick note here!
  14. 02:02:975 (1) - inconsistent NCing with the previous chorus, please take a relook. (not only this)

  20. 00:58:575 (2,3,4) - 01:00:175 (2) - 01:04:975 (2,3,4) - i think you should do away with this rhythm, and stick to 01:08:175 (2,3) - , its much more pleasant to play.
  21. 01:20:175 (1,2,3) - since the vocals are mainly 1/1, give emphasis on the white ticks more. a square (twinkle twinkle little star with the next note works) circle pattern works well.
  22. 02:01:075 - dude, nice copypaste.
  23. 02:40:175 - strongly suggest against using SV changes here, its not TOO intense, and it really makes DS on 1/2 weird with the very small overlap.
  24. 02:49:175 (6,7,8,1) - this stack definitely feels a bit too hard to read, not many people can comfortably count 4 notes. the accompanying sound is also quite faint (soft chants). use DS instead.

00:22:575 (1,2) - I feel these sliders are too long to have it completely straight, try curve it a bit so that it isn't too plain
00:46:975 (2) - Move the head point only, not the whole slider to x:376, y:363 to get a nicer blanket
01:01:375 (2) - Move the end point only, not the whole slider to x:197, y:180 to get a nicer blanket
01:04:975 (1) - I feel this is too low (part of the circle is outside the screen not just the grid), raise it a bit
01:12:975 (4,5) ^ Consider this too
01:23:775 (2) - Move to x:461, y:174 so that there is even spacing between slider ends

00:09:375 (3) - I feel the reverse here at 00:09:775 should be clickable, since it's a prominent note in the vocals and it's on a downbeat. I would make 00:08:975 (2) a 1/2 slider repeating once, and then make 00:09:375 (3) a regular 1/1 slider starting at 00:09:775 - as for an arrangement, I came up with this but you might want to do it differently (I dropped the AR all the way down so you can see the full pattern):

00:29:375 (4,5) - I wouldn't stack notes in Easy and Normal since I feel DS should be enforced at all times in these kind of diffs, so I would make this into to 1/2 sliders. This would mean you have to follow the drums instead of the vocals though

00:31:775 - Is the white tick intentionally left unmapped here for a slight pause? I would put a circle here since the following section is slightly easier than the previous since there are more 1/1 spaces between notes, so I don't feel you need this gap.

00:44:375 (5) - As 00:37:975 (3) -, but obviously for the synth this time instead of the vocals

01:08:975 (4,5) - Reduce the curve of (4) to create a slightly better blanket around (5)

01:57:975 - Consider adding a circle here to keep the 1/1 pattern since the current 3/2 spacing is a little awkward to judge

02:32:175 (3,4,5) - Zig-zag flow is quite awkward here. Improving it will be quite difficult since you've kinda boxed yourself into the top-left corner, but here's what I came up with:
  1. First, move (1) closer to the centre of the playfield, and rotate it anticlockwise to free up some room. Do the same with (2) to give you more space above

  2. Next, angle (3) down a little, and change the direction of (4,5). This zig-zag feels much more natural to play imo, and it's easier to read since there's far more space.

02:49:175 (6,7,8,1) - Yeah, 4 stacked 1/2 notes on a Normal isn't gonna fly I'm afraid, it's just too confusing for newer players. I would make 02:49:175 (6,7,8) a 1/2 slider repeating once and place it at the same place, facing horizontally to the left. Then Ctrl+H 02:49:775 (1,2) and move it so that the head of (2) stacks with the head of the new repeat slider (or some other configuration if this doesn't do it for you)

Maybe reduce AR slightly? AR9 feels too quick for 150BPM imo, I would go with 8.7/8.8

I'll focus mainly on note patterns here, since these seem to require the most attention. Placement suggestions can wait until you've got the best note pattern down, and to be honest the actual placement of notes in the current diff is pretty good with smooth flow

00:11:175 (7,8,1) - (1) is mapping over some vocal notes, whilst the note for (8) isn't really strong enough to justify it's own circle. I would make (7) a 1/4 slider, and then add two circles and another 1/4 slider where (1) was

00:12:275 - Add a note here for the "to" vocal note
00:12:675 - ^ For the guitar
00:18:875 - ^ For the drums

00:23:175 (1,2) - Feels weird to map over these strong drum beats. I know you're trying to map vocals here, but honestly I feel the drum track is more interesting. I'd split (1) into a 1/2 slider and circle, then split (2) into the reverse (so circle, then 1/2 slider) so the strong beats are clickable

00:26:175 - Add another note here for the drums again, this one is a must since it's a strong beat, on a white tick, and it helps maintain a good rhythm

00:27:375 (1) - The slider end at 00:27:775 is quite strong, so should be clickable. Shorten (1) by 1/4 and add a circle where the tail was

00:27:975 (2) - Same as 00:23:175 (2) - circle then 1/2 slider

00:28:975 (1,2) - Same pattern as 00:23:175 (1,2) - but use a different layout to whatever you use their for variety

00:30:175 (3) - Try splitting this into a circle and 1/4 slider (starting at 00:30:475 -) to get the strong beat of the drum and "then" in the vocals

00:34:375 (1) - Make this into a 1/2 or 3/4 slider (whichever you feel fits best for you) for the held vocal of "fly"
00:35:375 (5) - ^ As above, since here the pitch lowers

00:36:575 - Add a circle here for the synth, it helps to keep the rhythm

00:37:575 (2) - As 00:34:375 (1) for the held vocal note of "sky"

00:40:175 (1) - Split this into a 1/2 slider and a circle like you did for 00:36:975 (4,1) since 00:40:475 should be clickable

00:43:975 (3) - Consider making this a 1/2 or 3/4 slider as well for the "time" vocal

00:44:375 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - This is overmapped, there aren't any sounds on the even beats. If you still want to keep this pattern, remove the even beats and make the odd beats 1/4 sliders for the slightly held synth notes, although personally I think even that would be overmapped. It's your decision in the end though

00:46:575 (1) - There's a strong drum beat under the tail of this slider, so shorten it to a 1/2 slider and put a circle where the tail was

00:49:375 - Add a note here for the strong drum beat, and to maintain the rhythm again

Heyo, since the song is quite cool I wanted to drop some suggestions for the aeshtetics / placement / rhythm on Insane.

00:05:975 (1,2,3,4) - I'd like to suggest this rhythm to start the map with: http://puu.sh/h8Da5/d2af1dfaad.jpg First because it's easier to catch, and secondly because the rhythm is better expressed then. The strong vocal is more emphasized this way.
00:07:775 (4,1,2) - This spacing is somewhat misleading. Take this picture to understand what I mean: http://puu.sh/h8DcV/76fbb67c07.jpg You should increase / decrease the spacing accordingly.
00:08:975 (3) - Same.
00:09:675 - I'd totally add a circle here, to make the transition (with vocals) smoother.
00:11:975 - Another Rhythm I wanted to suggest. http://puu.sh/h8Dgg/5cc2ef5216.jpg I don't know whether you wanted to follow the vocals, but it seems more clear like that to me.
00:17:775 (1,2) - This rhythm is weird to play, since it doesn't really follow something outstanding. First,00:17:775 (1) - this follows the vocal, 00:17:975 (2) - this doesn't. You might restructure this.
00:22:175 (4,1) - One of the most awkward structures to play in this map. The spacing is way too low to let the player know that this is 1/2. Increase the spacing please.
00:26:075 - This part feels empty. I'd let the slider finish off with a triplet. (add circle 00:26:075 - and 00:26:175 - )
00:26:675 - Unfitting overmap.
00:37:275 (1,2,3,4,5) - Spacing issues again, basically take a look at the picture above. (this time because 1/1 and 1/2 obviously)
00:44:375 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Unfitting overmap, there is NOTHING here. Needs to be deleted, you can emphasize this part with a jump or whatever.

02:52:575 (1) - Never really understood why you only empahsized the "mother" of "motherf*****", but it would certainly play better if you added another circle 02:52:775 - .

tl;dr: In my opinion you should definitely go over your map again, and first of all get rid off the overmaps. Then the map might seem really empty to you BUT you have the option to fill the gaps with the 1/4 vocals given. They are perfect to map, why leaving them out? As said, that's optional but since you followed them every now and then anyway.. Secondly the placement. The picture I showed you at the begin of the mod should pretty much make this clear: Of course antijumps and stuff is allowed, but I can't see any kind of structure here, and it makes it more or less only confusing if you use the same spacing with 1/2 and 1/4 in a certain amount of time. Thirdly, the emphasis of certain parts. The main one would be the drop lead in, although that's totally up to you. But you can give the player a way better feeling of the song if you try to follow what I suggested (not forcing you btw).
