recently i've been looking for a pc version of my fav games on steam/itch.io. most of them were paid (they alr had the premium version, which was optional in mobile version) but free in the play store/app store.
(i dont have any screenshots sorry)
only online that doesn't work is the one relying on steam servers, everything else is fine + a lot of them can be spoofed (god bless spacewar)Ymir wrote:
If you're broke and genuinely can't afford gaming (it is a somewhat expensive hobby after all), it's okay to go down the piracy route. Though Multiplayer doesn't usually work with pirated games, you can enjoy them in singleplayer.
Eventually, when you get your income, you can buy and support the developers.
Without a doubt, don't play Mobile games, they're usually terrible and misrepresent the rest of the gaming industry.
just pirate stuff, it's really not that big of a dealNeigdoig wrote:
If you want to get games on PC, get abandonware games.
If a game is unmaintained by the original developers, and is not on any digital storefront, then it's abandonware. Go ahead and grab it.
An example of this for me is any of the Unreal (or Unreal Tournament) games, as they've been canned by Epic. They're now abandonware, meaning you can get them anywhere on the internet.
key resellers often don't give money to the devs so it's kinda like pirating but you're wating money on it so lmaoYmir wrote:
Whilst I don't pirate as often as I used to (I pirated one game in the past 2 years), I've stopped paying full price for steam games.
G2A and CDKeys are my best friends.
Yeah I'm aware. The only reason I buy games from resellers is because:Patatitta wrote:
