recently i've been looking for a pc version of my fav games on steam/itch.io. most of them were paid (they alr had the premium version, which was optional in mobile version) but free in the play store/app store.

(i dont have any screenshots sorry)

If you can buy them do it I guess, I don't know how bad it is on phone so you can try if it's free you have nothing to lose.

If you're broke and genuinely can't afford gaming (it is a somewhat expensive hobby after all), it's okay to go down the piracy route. Though Multiplayer doesn't usually work with pirated games, you can enjoy them in singleplayer.
Eventually, when you get your income, you can buy and support the developers.

Without a doubt, don't play Mobile games, they're usually terrible and misrepresent the rest of the gaming industry.

if you don't have the money, pirate,
if you have the money, pay official
if you just prefeer playing in pc, use emulators.

only online that doesn't work is the one relying on steam servers, everything else is fine + a lot of them can be spoofed (god bless spacewar)

also if they have found their way into osu, they already know enough about the gaming industry, I don't think any complete newbie to gaming will be posting on the osu forums

Multiplayer games are usually shit anyway, I'll die on that hill.

If you want to get games on PC, get abandonware games.

If a game is unmaintained by the original developers, and is not on any digital storefront, then it's abandonware. Go ahead and grab it.

An example of this for me is any of the Unreal (or Unreal Tournament) games, as they've been canned by Epic. They're now abandonware, meaning you can get them anywhere on the internet.

Whilst I don't pirate as often as I used to (I pirated one game in the past 2 years), I've stopped paying full price for steam games.

G2A and CDKeys are my best friends.

key resellers often don't give money to the devs so it's kinda like pirating but you're wating money on it so lmao
Duck o-o
pay for games when the devs will get money
dont if they wont (eg all of the 3ds library and wii u library now lol)

if u wanna try game before buying it u can just play the demo or watch a demo which most if not all games have

Yeah I'm aware. The only reason I buy games from resellers is because:

1. Funny GamesOwned number go up
2. I like the steam launcher

It's also much easier to access updates and multiplayer servers this way.

damn you must be rich to spend money just for number go up
