Content:
Hello, today I decided to bring up a topic that may be helpful to many people, perhaps you have wondered how I can improve in LN, or how I can start playing this game pattern.

Introduction
It should be emphasized that skill is born from practice, and these words must be very clear, because many think that knowing the basic or advanced without playing or practicing will make you skillful at once, so now let's start with the topic for which this forum was made.

I want you to know that I am a player like you and I may miss an important topic about this or I need to clarify, because even if I know about the topic we can always miss something, if you can help me by providing comments regarding this I think it's nice.

Topics we are going to touch on:
  1. Overall Difficulty (OD)
  2. Percy
  3. Maps
I don't want to touch on the subject ScoreV2 since I have not been able to fully gather information to be able to bring it to you, but if you can investigate on your own it would seem fantastic to me.

Topic 1 Overall Difficulty
Let's summarize this topic a little about the Overall Difficulty, known in the game by its acronym (OD) and we can find it this way in the game:

The OD will always vary depending on the map and is found in all maps in general of the Osu!, going into the basics according to forums dedicated to the OD express: "Overall difficulty (OD) defines how difficult it is to achieve high accuracy on a beatmap. The value ranges from 0 to 10, where higher OD will require more accuracy and precision. Since accuracy is important for gaining health, overall difficulty also influences how hard it is to pass a beatmap".

So in short, the more OD the map has, the more difficult it will be to pass the map since it will be present if we have good accuracy and precision during the game.

Most of the time some maps have OD 0 (only on abandoned LN maps or in some cases on Loved maps), so technically it shouldn't be that difficult to have decent accuracy and thus maintain our health in the game.

Topic 2 Percy
What is Percy?

They are really long image files with transparency at the end to make long notes in the game appear visually shorter than they really are, this helps in reading this pattern.

Note: they are called percy ln because the user Percyqaz came up with the idea or popularised.

To give a little context about what percy is, we could say that percy is a type of tool or an object that we can modify, and this is found inside our skin with which we can take advantage of reading LN.

Note: Not all skins have percy, if you don't use percy and don't feel the need to use it, then you can skip this topic and move on to the next one.

If you are one of those people who want to have Percy but don't know what skin they contain, I will show you briefly and show you some skins with Percy.

Skin
1 - pl0x&chordxx (kypers edit)
2 - SuddenDeath Skin v3
3 - One Diamond

With these 3 skins you should have an idea of what the skins with Percy are like.

And how can I know if my skin has percy or not?

To know which skin Percy has or not, it is very easy, the skin with Percy always has the LN cut out for better reading of patterns during the game, example:

Now the normal skins without Percy do not have any modifications in the LN, so they would look like this:

I think the difference is very noticeable, with everything discussed here, you could say that they should already identify which skin Percy has or not.
Topic 3 Maps
Well for this part I will leave a number of links to LN maps and some Mappers LN profiles, where you can find current maps of this category to download.

very nice map list!

you didn't really explain what percy ln are, they are really long image files with transparency on the end to make long notes in game appear visually shorter than they actually are, this helps since it's more common for people to release late when struggling to read ln properly, they also do not need to be nearly as extreme as the example you gave.

side note: they are called percy ln because the user Percyqaz came up with the idea or popularised it at least

wow, thanks for the clarification about what Percy is, many players (like me, they didn't know that information) may not know those important details, for the next update of this forum I will add what you said, it would be a great treasure if we can get more out of it. background, how percyqaz had the idea about what we currently call percy in the daily life of our skins

LNs ends are lenient by one level compared to notes and heads in lazer

e.g. releases in the 300 hit window become MAX, 200s become 300s, etc.

well, you have to remember that although lazer is derived from osu! The functionalities or mechanics of how the notes work change, resulting in what you mentioned, but still from what i understand, Lazer is not finished so "errors" like that always happen
